Seems solid and was just what I was looking for. My project is not automotive-related, I just needed a solid 5" 45-degree pipe and decided to purchase this one as it seemed like it would do the trick. The outside has a really nice finish, and pretty much looks just like the picture. The inside is just a little bit rougher but not a big deal for what I'll be using it for. Of note, the inside is a little dirty, maybe some aluminum powder or dry lubricant from the forming process, not sure. The little that is there is not a huge deal as it can be wiped out, it's not very visible but you can see it on a rag or on your fingers after touching the inside.

This product should not be used for any kind of manifold or muffler, as indicated it lasted approximately four minutes before melting
