It does kinda do the job, the part of the tool that sits on a seal is a little flimsy and it starts to shred as soon as you start hammering. I was able to drive one seal in, but by the time I started the other fork it was already no good. You also end up, smashing your thumb and your hand and it’s kind of no way to avoid it. I just ended up using a PVC pipe anyway.

The tool works as described and works well for time most part. The only issue is that the plastic that drives the seal into the shock had visible fraying after both shock’s were done. I purchased another one just in case. Easy to fix the issue but I’m not sure it will be able to do another 2 shocks in the future. BUT for the price and delivery time, you can’t go wrong.

If your going to do fork seals a bunch then invest in something better. The seal driver itself is not bad, the 2 halves seem sturdy, just always watch for burs in the metal before use. The part that contacts the seal its self seems flimsy since its just 3 plastic fingers on a thin metal strip.
