This helmet sound/intercom unit is a nice upgrade from the previous unit I had. The audio is clear and adequate in my helmet. My bike is not a 'loud' one, so your mileage may vary on this point. Pairing is easy and straightforward. Let me add at this point that the instruction manual is very thorough and clear. A nice change from many I have run across. Pairing with a phone and another headset went well. The advertising says it will pair with up to 5 units of the same brand, I can't say because I only have one of this brand. If you have a large riding group, this might be something you are interested in. A somewhat unique feature of this one is a built in FM broadcast receiver. The advertising says that it will "pick up FM all over Japan". Hmm, don't know about that, but I did here strong local stations. Like all little receivers, strong local stations are your friends here. Sensitivity is not that fantastic. But it is a nice bonus if you need it. Earpieces and mike velcros into your helmet like most other similar units. You have boom mike and button mike options to fit your helmet style. Overall, a nice intercom.

This comes in very nice quality packaging. Good sound quality. The unit has the intercom function, but not simultaneously with bluetooth usage of the phone. It has to switch between the two.

I've been unhappy with my current FODsports headset as even turned up all the way I can barely hear it in my helmet. I didn't have high hopes with this headset due to the price point but dang was I surprised after I took it out for a spin! Cruising down the interstate with decent crosswinds I had no issue hearing my music in my Icon Airform helmet. I started with it turned up all the way and actually ended up turning it down because it was too loud. The only complaint I have is some of the button combos for various features aren't intuitive and I'm still learning what combos do what but this is a solid headset!

What's great:- Very loud, can be heard through earplugs- Battery life is good. Several hours at least. Never had it run out when driving- Range is phenominal. 300ft without issue- Easy to pair with phone- Easy to pair with third party headsets- Surprisingly good sound quality. They aren't crisp like headphones or earbuds, but they have a good depth of sound that's pleasant to listen to- Microphone does a good job of filtering out noiseWhat could be improved:- The velcro for the earphones is honestly too strong. I had to reposition mine and started tearing the padding. Need to be careful to get between the velcro to pull- The beeps when adjusting volume are constant. They don't get louder/softer inline with volume adjustments. I found them jarringly loud if I wasn't wearing earplugs- I was unable to listen to music while paired with a third party headset. It was one or the otherI'm quite pleased with these overall. I'd love to see the ability to listen to music and talk with my buddies at the same time, and the rest can be worked through by getting to know the product. The range and battery life is excellent, and the speakers are loud enough to be heard at any speed.

It’s perfect for my motorcycle helmet. Sound quality is really good for the price. Really easy to setup. A must buy if you own a motorcycle

So this is a pretty standard unit, though with the extra simultaneous button pushing for most functions, that becomes quite a bit of a pain. Besides that, my main complaint is the difficulty in getting this to connect to other devices. I was able to connect to another unit I have of a different brand, but it will not connect to more than 1 off-brand (I finally found that disclosure in the manual after trying unsuccessfully to get 3 up and running). For me, this is a deal breaker--if I have to buy 4-6 of the same units, just to get them to communicate, then I'd definitely go with a different brand. This is too finnicky, too much of a hassle to know which combos need to be pressed for how long, just to make it work...not worth it.On it's own, it has nice sound, connects to my phone easily, and plays music decently, but I am looking for a system (systems) that I can connect 4-6 riders so I can stay connected to my kids as we ride dirt bikes...and this just isn't up there in the running for me.

very decent unit. plays my music is all I need. I dont pair with any other headsets so I couldnt tell you how that works. Its super loud. Actually loud enough to consider being careful not to crank it all the way when wearing your helmet. This is a good deal for its price point.I do not like having to hold two buttons down to turn it on.I fumbled a bit with trying to figure out where the metal clip went. In case you dont want to permanently mount it with the double-sided mounting tape.

This is a typical install for these units, clip on or adhesive mounts are provided, and Velcro pads to mount the ear pieces and microphone. It is not as easy to use as some others, as it uses multiple button combinations instead of most functions being on a wheel button for example. Battery life is okay, and what I would consider standard for an inexpensive unit of this type. The sound quality is decent, and sufficient for all but the loudest bikes. In those respects this works well. The deal breaker for me is that it doesn't allow you to listen to your music or GPS and still use the communication function at the same time. There are plenty of units out these days that can do that, and not just expensive name brand units either. This feels like a model from a few years ago, not a current new product. Not bad, usable for sure, but way behind some of the competition.
