If your anything like me, i have a grom solely for the purpose of parking lot practice. The two star is for the aesthetic and the simple install. In terms of protection, don’t buy these. I dropped the bike maybe going 3-5mph in a warehouse parking lot. now i will say, technically it protected the side of the case but i think that was more due to my handle bars. the bracket is bent but it doesn’t seem like the slider itself has any integrity problems. Idk i guess u kinda get what u pay for. shiny metal! also no instructions although it doesn’t take much to figure it out. Shipped fast and no missing peices.

I was a little apprehensive about these frame sliders at first because they mount directly to some threaded holes in the engine case. I imagine that if you hit them hard enough, you may be able to do some damage. But overall they are very easy to install. The only tricky part is one side is longer than the other. I think the longer side goes on the exhaust side but I'm not 100% sure. The good news is I have low sided my Grom 3 times at the kart track with these installed. Each time I was able to pick the bike up and continue my session. Good for some simple crash protection, but I wouldn't get them for stunting/wheelie protection.

Did not receive the bolts and spacers as shown in product pics. Impossible to put on bike.

I recently fell off my Honda grom due to some gravel, the product didn’t last one drop, it completely broke at two of the holes and snapped the other screw, and bent and warped the metal of the product.

No instructions given, felt like I was putting a puzzle together. They fell well built & I have no doubt that they can take an impact. My only concern is the location they are mounted on. They attach onto the clutch & stator case along with the cylinder air fins. Yeah, you might save your plastics, but I fear a hard slam will crack the case and or fins. They look pretty clean; & they work great for a foot rest for my daughter to sit on the tank & ride around with me. They took forever to be delivered.

They look awesome! I haven’t dropped my bike yet so I can’t attest to how well they work but they look great and feel sturdy.
