Parts (long bolt) is in adequate in size. Short bolt is fine. Wrong size in parts.

Overall, I really like these, they were not difficult to put on despite having no instructions. If you’re decent with a wrench and sockets you can do it. However, before starting, go get new bolts that match the strength of the factory bolts. You will be replacing 4 main bolts that hold a good part of the bike together. Take the bolts to Fastenall or wherever and ask for R 10.9 strength bolts the exact same size as the ones that came in the box. That way you can do everything in one step. I didn’t know this until the bike was apart. So if I could I would give this a 4.5 star if I could. The packaging was top notch as well.

Comes with zero instructions but looks simple enough, if my bike had two left sides. Returning it for something else. You’d figure with how much they are, they would make sure you get both sides.

No instructions but I have no experience on motorcycle and I was able to get it on. And you have to really work with it to make it fit. But it could just be because I had no instructions. It fits, it feels extremely sturdy and it doesn’t ruin what the bike looks like. Shipping usually comes faster than what is told, and I would buy if you don’t want to wait along time to get your hands on some crash bars on your CLX700

All start by saying the guards themselves look good and were well protected. The hardware on the other hand is missing 1/2 the replacement bolts. Your OEM bolts are not long enough on the 2022 clx 700 sport And have to replaced. Package SHOULD include 4 bolts 2 long 2 shorter. I got one of each. Made it work with large metal spacers I had on hand to supplement the long bolts where the short should go and using the longer OEM ones in place of the others. Basically giant pain and looks silly will have to go to Lowe's and get proper ones. Not gonna give it 1 star bc the guards are good.

There are 4 bolts needed- 2 for the front and 2 for the rear. They sent 2 to replace the front bolts. One was the correct length. The other was too long. Neither had a grading stamp. The original bolts were 10.9 graded (high strength). The 2 rear bolts on the bike were not long enough after the bars were added. I went to a local commercial bolt dealer and could not purchase longer 10mm bolts in 10.9 grade. They offered 3/8" grade 8 bolts. In addition to the bolt problems, the bars interfered with the small sheet metal lower fairings. And the angles of the mounting holes just barely fit the bike with a great deal of struggling. What should be maybe an hour project, turned into a 35 mile drive for high strength bolts and a days labor. They are on. They look nice. I can't recommend this product due to the high degree of difficulty and lack of providing high strength hardware that fits the bike.

Fits perfectly on my cf moto 700 clx 2023… hopefully I won’t have to use it , definitely recommend to anyone who has that bike. fyi there is no paper instructions recommend using a bike mechanic to install
