I carry various things in my saddlebags for emergency use. This is the newest addition. I already had an SAE cable hooked up, so this is a seamless addition. I can quickly check the voltage of my battery and fast charge my phone if I need to. The cable is about 4 feet long, which is plenty to put it on your handlebars if you choose to.

I wanted to add the ability to charge my phone, camera, or battery bank while I ride. This is a great solution. Installation was a cinch because it uses the same connector as my trickle charger. Leaving it easy to reach allows me to quickly switch between the two. Before I added this, the pigtail connector was just hanging on the side of the bike anyway, so this is much better.

I ordered this for an adventure motorcycle and it does the job well. The best part is that it has a little switch at the USB ports so you can turn the unit off and you don't have a micro drain on your battery. I have bought one of these usb chargers before and since it didn't have a switch to turn off it would kill my battery after several days, this one does not do that. Now I can plug in heated clothing and my phone.

Very Handy On a Motorcycle as I keep one in my saddlebag at all times. Just run the Harley trickle charger wire into the bag and plug this in and you are good to go. Like it has a state of voltage on the display as it could be a warning of your battery getting low also. Glad it came with a reverse plug as my Harley needed to use this. Charges phone quickly and like that it is usb 3. Has a nice cover for the ports when not in use. Case is plastic and seems well built and rugged. Anyone traveling on a bike should have one as the port on your motorcycle does not charge anywhere near a fast as this. Handy device.
