Almost useless on my 2007 Raptor 700. You would be much better off with a fiberglass wrap.I bought this to replace my wrap that finally bit the dust after about decade. The placement of the screws makes this useless. The only way to orient the shield and the clamps places the scalding hot screw right in the worst spot for your legs/pants. I will keep it on until I find something better, but I am very disappointed. It is better than a bare pipe on your leg, but you still have to intentionally avoid touching it.
