Will this battery work with Motorola Talkabout MS350R?Yes. (Motorola says no)Just so all are on the same page.The Motorola Talkabout MS350R does Not use a charger that requires two metal pads on the battery.The battery specified for the Motorola Talkabout MS350R does have those pads but they are useless.(53615)Battery chargers that require those metal pads cannot charge this battery, duh.The inconvenience of not being able to charge a battery except by having it in the radio is certainly annoying.In fact it is darn senseless.The reason to buy these batteries is to have charged rechargeable batteries on hand.Otherwise your radio sits in the charger while the battery charges. (effectively disabled)My advice is to have both types of batteries.The ones with the metal plates can be charged outside the radio with Motorola 53614 NiMH Battery Upgrade Kit.The ones with the metal plates have less than half the useable time as Motorola 1532 1300 mAh.However, they can be charged outside the radio and to the best of my knowledge, these 1532 1300 mAh can only be charged inside a radio.For those who are not familiar with NiMH batteries...They do Not have a memory and can be charged at any time once the initial charge is complete. (at least 16 hours)THEY ARE VERY POOR STORAGE BATTERIES and discharge daily doing nothing but sitting on the shelf.They rarely hold a charge more than 90 days.That is NORMAL.They do Not need to be reconditioned by full discharge but it can help condition them.For what it worth.... I charged and tested this battery in operation on a Motorola Talkabout MS350R before I submitted this information.5 stars for performance, 1 star for practical use.
