I purchased two for my feeders after losing pounds of corn to racoons and ending up with empty feeders. Installation was easy following the instructions. The one thing I do not like is the access door is too small to remove the spinner motor. Otherwise, a great investment. Saves $$$$ since I no longer have to refill the feeders as often.

This does the job. I like the way it’s built. Assembly is not difficult at all just takes awhile messing with them small clips and nuts. I bought another one to put around another feeder I’ll make it work.

So far it’s working. For the price it could be made better. The sides don’t line up well. The u clips are hard to get on since it doesn’t line up and the screws and nuts are very tiny and hard to work with. I’ve done mechanical work my whole life and just saying it could be a little better for the price. But once its on it does the job.

Needs a redesign. Raccoons are able to reach up from the bottom and still spin the plate. It does keep the squirrels out. It was tedious to assemble. You will need to bolt it to the feeder first before assembling the bottom of the cage. I just purchased the upgraded motor with the varmint zapper in hopes this will solve my problem.

This review is totally based on assembly. I have not had it long enough to assess its effectiveness. The u clamps that come with it are not long enough and they are darn near impossible to use. I managed to get one on and then struggled with the others until I just lost my patience. Then I drove into town, bought some heavy duty wire, and just wired the darn thing together. Also, I have the Moultrie 30 gallon feeder, and although advertised as fitting both the Moultrie 30 gallon and the Moultrie 325, I think this thing was designed particularly for the 325. It just doesn’t fit the 30 gallon that well. Bottom line is it was a terrible assembly experience, and I do not advise assembling this thing in the field.
