These bike pedals were better than expected in every way. Cheap, easy upgrade to any bike. The color isn’t as bright as I’d like but still a good solid orange.

It feels like a well built pedal and it was pretty easy to install with a 15 wrench. No need for pedal wrench. You can also use a hex key to tighten it. But the looks of it, it seems serviceable by just taking off the cover with a hex key. The seals seem good and functional. The pedal doesn't spin very freely but the motion is very smooth. The green color I bought is a bit dull to my taste. It looks good in the sun but otherwise looks like a dull green. It grips very well to my sport shoes. The package has an extra stud and some shims, I assume for the bearing assembly.

Most people will say these are a blantant rip off of the RaceFace Chesters, and they are partially correct. The overall shape is similar, however, the design is in fact very different. Chesters are a little thinner in the platform and that gives the pedals a slight convex shape with a thick axle and thin platform. The MZYRH pedals are 100% flat and grip shoes much better as a thick axle doesn't com into contact with shoe soles and stop the pins from engaging. I ride with 5.10 Guide Tennies and they have a slightly rounded sole profile and deeper tread so any pedal that is not flat or concave will not grip my shoes very well (100% acknowledging my results and needs are obviously different than riders using 5.10 Freeriders or similar shoe).Using these instead of my RF Chester pedals is a huge upgrade in performance and the benefit of having two sets of pedals for the price of one is a nice benefit. I plan on buying more of these pedals to replace my RF Chesters because of the performance and price.

I have 2 bikes with $50+ Bontrager Line pedals, which I love. These pedals are the same exact platform and pin layout with some more interesting color options. They've been holding up well for the past season and time will tell if there as good as my Lines but, in reality, I can buy them twice for the same cost. For any not familiar with the Bontrager Line, it's a nice flat pedal without the raised spindle "bump" that the popular RaceFace Chester and many others have. If you don't wear very stiff shoes, you end up feeling this raised bump and it gets uncomfortable. Also, the platform on these is slightly larger, for medium to large sized feet (I wear 12us) but my wife and daughter (6.5us) love them, too. The grip on these is amazing.Packaging is actually pretty nice and construction/sealing seems very good.If there's any drawback, they're slightly thicker than other pedals these days...almost a BMX pedal thickness, but if that 2mm makes a difference for you, you're probably not looking at

they look good from opening the box. The 'resin' felt solid and real, not heap. Threading and finish of the spindle are very good. I de-brand, debur, clean out to relube, and re-polish or re-paint jiust about every part I buy. The left ped had .2mm axial runout (play). So I tuned both - the inside looked as finished as the outside!. Even the grease is good for some milage. Very cool. The pair come with 40 mounted and 2 spare spikes or cleats, and four SS spindle washers. I had so much fun looking for good pedal washers that when i found them I stocked for my descendants. they look good from opening the box. The 'resin' felt solid and real, not heap. I had so much fun looking for good pedal washers that when i found them I stocked for my descendants. You get washers. One week in. So smooth. Equal or better than pedals at 3X $. The spikes are little allen bolts and nuts and like to get loose. Also they rust. Not gona spend $50 for SS w/Nylok so I pulled all, hit em w/MetalPrep -acid- dried then doused w/zinc - Galv ina Can. Assembled barely flash dry so loctite isn't needed. WhileI had the pedals off I repacked the bearings with that fancy French teflon grease....two mor days ...? Stylin, light, durable, nay, bombproof Perfection underfoot for about $25 for the pedals, and an hour to tighten up an already good product. Thanx MZYRH .
