I was skeptical about getting this model as there wasn't a lot of reviews or information that I researched before choosing this one. I needed to order a remote start as a Christmas or birthday birthday gift but was watching Black Friday and cyber Monday sale in hopes of a discount. I waited to long and when I was ready to pull the trigger this model was the only one that would arrive in time for the birthday or Christmas. That is why I choose this one. Well I am happy that things worked out this way as I believe I that it is the better choice from the others I was considering buying. The installation is super easy for this MPC Remote Start. Its could probably be done without removing the dash panel if you are familiar with where the CPU harness' are located. I opted to remove the lower drivers side dash panel for easier access and to be able to tuck the unit away nicely. There is literally connecting the OPD II jumper and swapping the new male OBD II into the sot where the factory on was mounted. That way if a tech needs to run an update or diagnostic the OBD II port is is accessed from the factory position. Then one jumper to the CPU harness. That's it the connection are from the new jumper harness's to the Remote Start unit and color/size coded to make it easy. I accident open the hood latch when removing the dash panel, the first test of the remote start didn't work. Once I shut the hood latch it started right up after pressing the OEM key fob lock button 3 times. I am very happy with the last minuted hastily choice I made to get this one and would definitely recommend it over the The others I was considering for the ease of installation.
