The ones with the fan built in is the best one but it does take a lot of D batteries so I would only use the fan for emergencies. I have one of these set up around the house for cold areas or days where you feel you just need a woodstove to stand in front of! My dogs love laying in front of it! I use it in my house for outages or just to take the chill off.... I have 2 this size, one with fan one without and then a tiny one to travel with for outings.

I use my heater for my Fall camping trips and LOVE IT! I have a fairly large tent and only have to use one side of this heater! It's easy to turn on and it heats my tent up in just a few minutes! Best money spent!

I was curious if it would heater an extremely large outdoor tent: 30ft x 100ft, and it did!!It worked!If we had kept the door closed it would have been too hot!Definitely a great purchase!!

Love this product! Mr. Heater Big Buddy is great. No fuss. No assembly, No cable, no cords. I am using 2 1lb. propane canisters until I can connect to a 20lb. canister, a simple task by screwing on 1lb canisters on each side or 1 hose (and filter depending on hose). Everything is assemble. You just need to add your choice of propane set up. Single knob operation. Instantly ignites with a pump or two on pilot, when you see flame turn to your heat setting. Just like a gas stove and you're set. Heat in seconds, a God sent if there is loss of electricity.

Throws a lot of heat on Max. Tried both 1lb cylinders and 20lb tank. Quality construction throughout. A fan would be a great add-on.

Not a "dislike" as such but for an elderly person the weight is significant. Used in a gazebo, even in a strong cold wind, the heat was fully up to expectation.
