This was a perfect fit for my Weber Gas go anywhere grill. I was confused at first because of the different configuration of the regulator body and office size. This regulator body slides up into the burner tube and utilizes a smaller but adequate orfice. It works perfectly, nice flame and saved me some bucks!

This regulator will work on most portable grills and is easy to install and operate. It is very reasonably priced compared to other offerings. But it can get too hot for some grills because of its design. Even on the LOW setting, you can expect temperatures of 450F if you're cooking with the lid closed. I bought one for my Holland Companion grill. Very easy to switch out with the official Holland regulator that had failed on mine. But when it finally became available, I purchased the MG1-109 Holland regulator so I could reduce heat to 350F - 400F - 450F on LOW-MED-HIGH. This Mr. Heater Regulator can push temperatures above 500F.

I bought this to replace a lost regulator on a Holland Companion Grill. THIS DOES NOT FUNCTION SAFELY OR PROPERLY WITH A HOLLAND COMPANION!!! this 6000 BTU regulator heats the Companion to 600 degrees on high warping the lid. The manual for the Companion says 450 degrees on high. The brass gas orifice hole on a Companion should be a #71 drill size. This regulator has an orifice that's hole is much larger. The regulator is an exact match, but the brass orifice in the regulator is wrong for a Holland Companion. I confirmed with the current Holland company the correct size of the orifice.

It should be noted that this adapter is for bbq to bug gas cannisters ie the garden full sized ones. Not the portable Coleman camping cannisters. I got this for my Char Broil X200 and itt does fit that. Nice and securely in fact. But I expected from the product page this would fit a portable cannister ie the Coleman C500. It does not.Regardless like I said fit is secure and workmanship seems good. I've not used it yet as I don't have any garden gas if I do in future I'll update this review. I got the X200 for its portability so this adapter is not really necessary for this bbq for my circumstances.

I got it in time for my next camping trip. Tried it out as soon as I could and was not disappointed. Wasn't sure I could get a replacement regulator for my portable bbq but was glad Amazon had it .

yes, the grill is awesome except for the valve it came with!! This is the one recommended and it works great (way better than the original). There is a slight difference between high and low setting but it gets the job done.it did look like the valve stem was to short as compared to the original, but works like a champ--it even locks into place like the original.have used several hundred times and its still kicking

Unfortunately this did not fit my grill as stated by everything I read on here. I tried to grind a bit off as one user stated but alas it did not work for my grill. Not the manufacturer fault. Can't return either because I grinded it ...

The regulator on our CharBroil infrared grill went bad. Actually, it was never that good, as it was always difficult to regulate the temperature. I purchased this replacement, because it looked like it would fit and the price was right. Well, it does fit, even though the connection shaft is a couple of inches shorter. And, it works great, with better control of the flame, particularly at the lower settings.
