It took two separate heaters to heat up one MRE. I think some of them might be defective.

First of all, the dimensions listed in the product specs is WRONG! No way this is 12” deep!!!My Meal Ready Pouches will never fit in these bags. And they are non- returnable so I’m out the money too.Very very disappointed.

These are a great asset to the Emergency Food that I use for potential emergencies . Packed well and small enough to go into small backpack pockets .

I've only used 2 of the 24 so far. One had a small hole in the bottom so the water wanted to leak out. I got the heating element wet and it was able to warm my ration. The other worked great. The shipping was great, so if you know how these work, it's worth warming your rations. I will be ordering them again.

It's good to have some extras, and I bought Meals without heat -- they tested well, and will look forward to warm food at the end of a day of adventure racing.
