The bolts that are supplied with the adapter use a hex bit and not a star type if not aware of this it will cause it to slip and will strip the bolt during the torquing the bolts down during the installation . Test your fit of your bit is properly fitted before you install… be careful and patient after installation I had a slight leak the original adapter which used a full sized surface gasket and not the oring type on this adapter I tried to carefully tighten down the adapter but made no difference. I removed the adapter cleaned both surfaces and replaced the oring type gasket with a GM gasket a full surface gasket which worked great no leakThis is how i overcame my problem with a leak I m not saying that this is the right decision but many others have complained of leaks but this gasket upgrade resolved my leak…..

How am I supposed to relocate the oil pressure sending unit when the company doesn’t even machine the hole for the m16-1.5 sensor? Poor Quality Control, this NEVER should have left the facility like this. Now, instead of wasting my time sending this piece of garbage back, I need to machine the hole, buy a tap, and tap the threads. My labor will be billed for finishing your product! I can not waste another week of down time due to this incompetence!

I originally used this for my pressure sending unit. Afterthought was that this location is really too close to the pump for it to be accurate.I ended up relocating the sending unit to behind the manifold in the stock location.This part will work fine. Seals, no leaks.
