decently put together,did the job they were to do. it just took a little practice to become a pro at cutting the rings,but soon, I was good. you can do it too.just do a couple practice one before just doing them.

Took about a cylinder and a half to figure out the technique but then after that, filing the rings went super fast and easy. For the price I'd say this was well worth it.

It did its job, fair at best. The wheel wears out quite quickly. I managed to file a complete set of rings for a v8 (4 rings per) . Chinese quality.

If you bought this you probably have to grind some rings that are going into a decent engine. While this tool does work, it barely does so and might even ruin your rings. It's really only useful for the flat surface. The grinding wheel is cheap and won't center on its axis, and wobbles around from left to right as you use it, making it extremely difficult to get a flat edge or take off just a few thousand of an inch. The grinding wheel is also far too coarse. You're better off with a hand file on a flat table.
