I have an older version of these and they are much better constructed. These were for my wife so a little dissapointed, but I do like ease of attachment and how lite they are.

Great, light, and easy to use pair of snowshoes. Friend recommended these youth size snowshoes, as they are easier to use than adult sizes. Fits perfect for me (women 6.5) with lots of room for larger adult shoe sizes (fits my husband who wears 8.5 in men; but is at max for the straps) as well. HOWEVER, per the manufacturer’s specs, the max weight load on these are 125lbs. My husband and I are each within the weight limit (he’s on the border) so these work perfect for us.For reference, I’ve used these (with good traction and easy maneuverability) up a 45 degree hill (nothing too technical) and flat surfaces.

Overall, the design is good, but the plastic clips are prone to breaking and MSR will not warranty them.

I'm a 5 foot 8 inch tall woman. I wear a size 8 us women's shoe. I weigh 110 lbs. I ordered these because I strongly feel that I do not need to backpack carrying snowshoes that are meant for 200+ lbs folks. Those things are huge and heavy. But I'm not exactly a small woman either. My shoe size is not small, and I'm quite tall. So, I was a bit concerned. I'm happy to say, that if you're a slim, but otherwise normally proportioned woman, these should fit you fine.Hurray! No more heavy, gigantic snowshoes!

Bought these for my 6 year old to replace some cheaper ones that I had to return for quality issues. These however, are great quality. I bought these instead of the child version because we generally hike in deeper snow than most, and usually powder, so the extra surface area is a benefit. The bindings are very secure and easy to attach to his boots, traction is exceptional. We went on a one mile trek today in untracked powder, and he was leaving the trail for more of a challenge, and even running. The MSRs are built with serious use in mind, and seem like they will last through both of my kids.

Our 8 year old loves these. Now the whole family can go together. These will grow with her. I volunteer with a program called SnowSchool ans we take 3-5th graders snowshoeing. These are the shoes we use. They hold up well. I have had my adult pair since 1999.....yep 10 years. Still trekking with my MSR
