I’m not new to magic, but my board tends to get a little messy. I bought this for the outlined zones, and I’m really impressed with it. The colors are vibrant and stitching is nice. The stitching is good, and I think it will last a long time. Not sure I’ll take it to shops though - I don’t know that I want everyone thinking I’m a noob

This MTG playmat is fantastic! It has been really helpful in getting my sister, who is new to the game, to start playing. The playmat clearly lays out the different areas of play, making it an excellent tool for beginners to learn with the benefit of visuals.

This is a well played-out useful play surface. it has slots for everything. The only minor issue I had was that my commander is allowed to have a companion, so I had 2 commanders, but I just put the second one on top of the rules reminder.I'm used to putting the draw and discard piles on the left, but they work fine on the right.It's easy to roll it up and put it back into the included draw string bag for travel.I included a picture of it in action.

I still like having the zones on the playmat, and the reminder of the phases is still appreciated. I like to be able to lend these out to anyone and know that the person has useful information if they're new or just learning the rules. I also really like the artwork on this one. While I do like the cool characters and dragons or silly cats or whatever, this is sort of calming for me and feels way more chill. Basic isn't bad, but single colors is a bit boring and this fits nicely in between and is more of a neutral type of playmat art.Stitching is solid all around, the back has a nice non slip grippy texture to it and all of the symbols and lines on the front look good. All in all, good quality mat.

I got this mat for my husband as he is new to the game and this has the entire game laid out for you. It also lays out the steps to the game. Untap, upkeep, draw, main phase, combat, main phase, end step. Then there is a space for your deck to live (library), the command zone for your commander, the graveyard, exile, the bottom rectangle is for your land, and then the battlefield. It is thick and rolls up for storage. It is thick enough it doesn’t stay rolled up so we use a hairtye to keep it rolled. It is wipeable. The artwork is dramatic. He loved it and plays with it every time.

This mat was such a beautiful royal blue! It has marked zones for different areas of the mat, making it easy to be organized when playing. The mat is a good size, and I like that it has a non-slip backing. The waterproof feature is handy as well, since I like to have a drink nearby.The mat comes with a nice carrying bag with drawstring, and it was easy to put it back in after using it.
