Inside dimensions are 6.7” x 3.4” x 5.9” H.

I purchased these so I can create a "go box" for hunting or trips to the range. I put one box of ammunition, a cleaning snake, a folding ammunition carry pouch and some cleaning supplies in each. I label them and stack them on a shelf for quick and easy access. I use larger cans for main storage of each caliber of ammunition.

I ordered this case because based on the dimensions specified by the seller on the Amazon page, it should have been big enough to hold a battery that I had also ordered. The seller provides the dimensions in two places on the page: near the top in the summary description, and further down the page in the "Technical Details" section. In both places, the dimensions they give seem to be a mix of internal dimensions (the height) and external dimensions (the length). The length dimension in particular is problematic because the locking mechanism at one end increases the external dimension. And the true internal dimension depends on whether you measure it at the bottom or at the top - the sides slope.The only other problem I noticed is that the clamp isn't quite as snug and secure as I would have preferred. The force needed to open the clamp was so slight that it did not give me confidence that it wouldn't pop open if, for example, it were to fall on its side with heavy contents inside the box.Otherwise, it seems a nicely made plastic box at an unusually good price.

A full ammo box can be heavy and is not something you want to carry around very often, but this mini ammo box is perfect for going to the range, I know that the lady shooters will love this size and those who are getting a little older will be happy with the lesser weight. I think that this mini ammo box is going to be poplar.

This is a really small can, very small. This is nowhere near the size of a standard 30 cal ammo can. You are not going to carry a lot of ammo to the range with this can. What this can is good for is carrying a small lot of ammo for a qualification or a demo for class (I am an instructor). You don't need to carry 600-1000 rounds for an individual qualification.This size is also perfect for carrying some specialized gear to the range.The can itself is a standard MTM plastic can. It has a water resistant seal. The can flexes a lot. It is not a military steel can.If you can live with these restrictions, then this can will work very well.

I take it boating with me to store phone, car keys, sun glasses. it is very convenient size box. I don't know if it would hold water well. It is easy and fast to open/close.

I have 3 of these now and I think there great little store for small ammo. I use it for my 22LR, 9mm and I have one with 30-30 in it the one with 30-30 has 60 rounds and it’s almost full I’d say it could hold about 100-120 very good for the price will probably get a few more only thing is would be the plastic latch would like metal but it works well.
