I am just an OLD school MTX fan and have been using the product since the late 80's - Early 90's! Great sound from the MTX subwoofers! Paired with an Alpine 300-watt mono amp (600 at 2 ohms) and bridged to 2 ohms, these 10's get the job done and more. Great response and incredible punch! Clear and smooth bass! For the price and the reliability, I would not go to another brand! MTX guy here!

I purchased this sub because Best Buy "expert" convinced me the Kicker 400.1 amp would run a Kicker 10" Comp C sub just fine. WRONG! The amp is too small so instead of buying a bigger amp, I found this sub with a lower RMS rating. This Kicker amp drives the *BEEP* out of this MTX and I'm actually impressed. It is doing what I hoped... good bye what hearing I have left.

Got a pair of these for a $100. I have them mounted in a 2.5 cu ft ported enclosure tuned at 43 hz . For $50 a piece, they sound very good. Now they have good low bass but not quite as low as compared to its rival, the Kicker Comps . As I would put these maybe a step behind the Comps. These are a good entry level subwoofer . But there are some slightly better options out there in this price range. These subs remind me a lot of the old MTX Road Thunder Twos that were built back in the 90s . I’d admit it’s good to see this old brand still hanging around . And hopefully for longer

I can FEEL the bass lines in the movies. I used this sub as a replacement in a powered pyle sub enclosure because the other sub was busted.
