This things is quite flashy and impressive, and it's well made although of aluminum which will not hold up in the machining environment nearly as well as steel would. However, it is a giant PITA to use. Loosen a bolt and the thing gets very floppy and binds easily when you try to relocate it on the table. It is difficult to set properly. Much harder to use than the old-style, tried and true post and rod table stop. I've used this thing for 2 or 3 years and finally had enough. It's going in the yard sale bin and I'm buying a good quality post and rod style to replace it.

Using this on a 5" vice. A bit of a squeeze, but works fine. I really appreciate the ability to locate the stop below the top of the vice to prevent crashes. Seems like the best design out there.

I am surprised at how heavy and sturdy this thing is! I was expecting light, flimsy aluminum but not the case. Well worth ghe money!

This edge stop fits perfect on my Tormach 770m. It's low profile so it sits just below the vise with the stop rod just high enough to work but out of the way of my fly cutter.I can't find anything to complain about. It's perfect.I did buy 2 vise stops a few months ago but they didn't sit low enough to be useful. This one is perfect. I wish I would have bought it first instead of trying to save money
