As I hold this ax even as we speak, I'll try to make it short and sweet. Extremely sharp, well-balanced, adult size heft...not for kids, grip works well for throwing, chopping AND sawing. You sacrifice a thicker hammer in back for ease in removal from case. Blade is sharp enough to use as a knife. There are actually grooves on the ax... To use as a knife (Indiana Jones and the Holy Grail..."I chose correctly")

The saw is hard to get out but it works well! Was what I wanted. Good quality just hard to get that saw part out but that's probably a safety feature.

This is a nice axe. I like the saw and the way it fits in the handle. You don't feel it, though, when holding it. The whistle isn't as loud as I'd like but will suffice. The blade is very sturdy and sharpens up nicely. The axe itself is not heavy at all. It's very cold where I live. I keep a survival kit in my vehicle at all times. This is a very welcome addition, the perfect survival tool. I'm happy with my purchase and highly recommend this axe to everyone. Oh, yeah!

Very functional for our camping trip. Durable enough to break a car window when a neighboring camper’s kid locked themselves in their car and couldn’t find the keys.

this was sharp and great from when i went camping. I have used this about 2 dozen times and it is still sharp and the flint striker is convenient as well

Great multi tool. Looked just as it was described, well made and handle was not flimsy considering there is a saw in the handle, both tools were very sharp so be careful handling it. The saw was difficult to take out at first, but once I figured it out it was easier. The cover for the axe head seems to be a bit flimsy so we will see if it hold up over time. But it seems to be an overall good product.

I use this for camping, and after chopping away at some branches, it held up much better than I thought a $30 plastic multitool would. The saw is sharp and cuts through branches up to 6in diameters before starting to struggle. There were a few moments when I was nervous it would bend from an aggressive movement, but it held up well. The axe is good enough for a light weight hatchet. I split around 20 logs with it, and while it's not as good as a proper splitting axe, it's much better than battoning with a knife. Afterwards the blade still looked good. If you know how to use a ferro rod, I'm sure the small one could be useful, but that isn't my strong suit. It put out relatively subpar sparks, compared to a few others I had laying around. The belt loop is convenient, and after some practice, I could get the hatchet out from the sheath, but putting the hatchet back into the sheath definitely takes some practice and wearing out a corner to do smoothly.
