Very good design with a saw blade rather than the wire. This saw cutting is easier with hard cheeses. The wood base looks good on the countertop with green coloring.

Works good but when it’s wet it smells terrible.

My husband and I are both in our late 70s and have difficulty pushing through block cheese. This slicer is perfect for us!

I purchased this item to cut blocks of cheese. It does not work. It does not allow you to slice them thin, and does not cutit cleanly. The cheese looked horrible after using this. The wood also has a terrible smell.

I tried to use it and it didn’t cut cheese slices correctly and the cheese gets caught in the crevice. I tried to clean it out with a knife, but was unsuccessful.

It's a sharp little devil, that much is for certain.I know a lot of these have wire cutters instead of blades and that's fine. This on the other hand uses a rigid and sharp blade to cut your various cheesy treats, I'd similarly expect it to do a great job with cutting pepperoni or other charcuterie board sausages with little effort. It's fairly compact but big enough to hold a normal grocery store block of cheese and the blade is sharp enough to cut through harder cheeses without issue. It cleans up easily, it's well constructed. I'm very happy with it.

It's an okay cheese slicer. The Acacia wood is nice. The blade, however, is thin and not very strong. Also, the board itself is small, so some cheeses may need to be cut before using it. It did not cut one of my cheeses, which is quite hard, but it did fine on the Cheddar. For the hard cheese, I was certain that if I pressed harder, the slicer would break. It also came with a pair of woolly looking gloves, which I discarded. I am not sure what the purpose was because they would accumulate residue and would need to be washed after every use to be safe.
