I bought this music folder to help organize my sheet music for piano gigs and I am impressed with its quality. The folder is made of durable polypropylene which gives it a solid yet flexible feel. It fits letter size sheets perfectly and I appreciate that it holds up to 60 pages. The binder opens flat thanks to the strong twin springs which makes it easy to read the music without any glare or discomfort. I also like that the pages stay securely in place and I can even make notes directly on the sheets for fingering or notation changes. This feature has been a great help during practice sessions. I have used it for both indoor and outdoor gigs and it holds up well in various settings from solo performances to ensemble rehearsals. The sturdy design ensures that the binder will last and I find it very easy to organize my music with this folder. A great purchase for anyone who plays music professionally or for fun.

This is a really nice, large folder with plastic sleeves to put your sheet music in. The binding is large and the sheets move easily from one side to another when it is on a music stand. There are 20 plastic sleeves in the binder, meant to hold 8 x 11 inch music sheets. The sleeves have an opening that you can slide two sheets of music in, back to back. Plus on both the front and back of each sleeve there are flaps on the top, bottom and side opposite the binding that can hold another music sheet in place. The website said "Double Side Writable 60 Pages" which led me to believe there was paper music sheets included, but there isn't. It's just the plastic sleeves. If you used every possible way to hold music sheets, you could get 80 pages- 40 inside the sleeve back to back and one tucked into the flaps on the front and back side of each page. It's a very functional folder to hold music while you play.

My son has been using a lot of sheet music for his piano lessons and they get all over, are hard to keep organized, and don't stand up on their own at the piano. I initially put them in a three ring binder, which is okay but difficult for him to turn quickly enough without ripping the pages. This binder works much better for that purpose. It holds the sheet music straight on the piano and the pages are easy to turn. It's a little difficult for him to slide the sheet music into the binder pages, but once in it suits his needs. The pages are nice and sturdy and should hold up to the use. Two things that I wish were different - first, it would be nice if the binder held more pages. Some of the pieces he plays has a good number of pages to is, so only 3-5 songs fit in the binder. While the songs could be changed out as needed, its so cumbersome that he doesn't want to take the time when he's practicing. And yes, I can order more binders (which I'll likely do) but the other improvement would be to have a way to label them. With more than one binder that all look the same, it would be great if there was a way to insert a changeable label so we knew at a glance which pieces were in which binder.
