It came with two switches, but I have only used one so far. It's small size is good for a tight guitar cavity, and its shaft was long enough to fit through the wood top when using one nut and one washer.

It was difficult to solder wires on these so they all melted inside after soldering the switch was no longer functional and when I opened it inside I found a melted black plastic like material

You might need two, as I melted one by holding iron on to long.. Once you figure that out, soldering was easy. Tin your wires, and clean the tip! Used for a humbucker coil split. Works good.

Bought the 2-pack to install in a PRS SE Standard to split the two humbuckers that I had previously installed. I was tired of using the push/pull tone knob (which I also replaced when wiring in these mini-switches). These fit great in the cavity with minor chiseling for depth and were easy to wire up so that each splits a separate humbucker. No complaints.

Having switches at this price point makes it possible to easily have a stock of switches that anticipate your needs rather than having to specifically order specific #pole/#throw switches as each project unfolds.They're reliable & handy: just be sure to check you understand how many poles/throws you need (and if On/On/On, which of two types you're getting).
