This is a nice set of rubber coated multi n42 magnet mounts that have a coated metal spring clip attached. They do hold surprisingly well. They are not like others I have tried in the past that although they might have had a decent strength before however after being coated they ended up not holding very well. The spring clips mounted on these are sized perfectly for items such as triple AAA, C, & D battery flashlights however they are a little too big for anything very much smaller than the typical 3-AAA. They may hold handles that are slightly larger than a typical broom handle such as screwdrivers etc. but cannot be adjusted much smaller than that. I had went away from C & D sized anything years ago to minimize sizes & weight that I would have to keep/carry around but these work well with all of my 3-AAA flashlights to keep them handy and not fall off the refrigerator or file cabinet and without scratching them due to the coating. They are easily taken out to the car or truck to work on them as well if needed without worry of scratching the paint. Overall these hold well and are going to be very useful to have around.

I just hung my fishing rod from these clips on my camper van ceiling this morning. I'm going on a road trip in a few weeks and wanted a place, out of the way, to store my rod and reel. I hung two of these clips from support ribs and snapped my rod into them. I did a short test ride on the road and over a few speed bumps at various speeds, and the end with the reel did dislodge itself, so I made a secondary support from another magnet and string for now. It works enough for me to brainstorm some sort of redundant or backup for the heavier end of the rod. I'll update as I arrive at solution. These are strong magnets and the sorting steel clips work well; so I would say that they are a good product for lighter weight items.
