The only reason these get a 4 is because they don't have any way to lock a bit in place. I had to drill a hole in the end and run a pin through these (and a hole drilled in the attachments I'm using) so that I could secure everything and not lose my attachments in dark unreachable places.

Ok product at the price point but not good for extended use. After a few minutes the friction makes it too hot to hold. Extra shaft lubrication doesn’t help. For short jobs it works good.

The casing on all of these extensions are very weak. Trying to drill thru a 8x beam at the top of my ceiling with a 1/2 drill bit for a tv cable and 2 of the outer casings just unraveled like a spring also on the ends where there’s a 1/4” fitting just fell off.Tool can’t take the stress

It broke easily. The spiral metal cover got twisted and didn't get back straight. The spring also became detached.
