I used these for my composite deck. The are hidden, as advertised. Easy to use, I haven’t had any problems.

I ordered these ‘Muzata 120PCS Deck Fasteners Hidden Deck Fastener Clips’ to use on a small deck platform I’m building. There were a lot less expensive than the name brand clips, so I figured they were worth trying.I am mostly satisfied with these ‘Muzata 120PCS Deck Fasteners Hidden Deck Fastener Clips’. They do secure my composite deck planks almost as good as the OEM ones. I do notice a bit more ‘wiggle’ in the planks with these fasteners, but nothing that will cause a problem.I do like how the included screws are longer than on the name brand fasteners. But I don’t like that the heads on the screws are substantially bigger. They will definitely be noticeable between the deck boards especially if they rust down the line.The clips seem to be pretty solid. I have no doubt they will hold up reasonably well to the elements.Allin all, these ‘Muzata 120PCS Deck Fasteners Hidden Deck Fastener Clips’ are a decent, cost effective option for composite deck fasteners. The quality is decent…they do fit…and they do hold the boards securely. The screws are just too obvious when they’re installed.

Several of the fasteners cracked with very little tension. The screw heads strip very easy. Don't know how long they will last.

I was very disappointed with these hidden fasteners. About every third fastener would fail. I thought they would be perfect for the joints since they are wide and looked strong. While the width was correct and they were great for covering the joints, the strength was far from what I expected. They would break in half, or the screw would sink through and hold nothing. This product is definitely not made for the tasks it was promoted to do. Unless they redesign these fasteners, they will not be good for your deck.It took time to get out the bad fasteners, go to the local home center, buy more fasteners (at a higher price), and re-do the decking boards impacted. Very disappointing product.
