Your cart is empty.This PREMIUM kit is MADE IN THE USA and includes: ONE Hi-Temp/Hi-Pressure Shut off Valve, ONE 4" Hi-Temp/Hi Pressure Heater Hose, THREE Stainless Steel Smooth Edge Band Clamps that WILL NOT cut into your hoses This Kit includes a 4" section of high quality heater hose so you do not need to cut or modify your OEM heater hose to install this valve. Install the supplied valve at the END of your OEM hose and then attach the valve and supplied 4" hose to your engine outlet. On some vehicles it will not be easily accessible to install this kit on the engine side of the heater inlet hose. If this is your case you can also install the bypass kit on the fitting at the firewall where the inlet hose attaches.

I installed this on my ram 1500 5th gen and finally I have ice cold air conditioning. This is the fix you need for the ac in summer. No idea why these trucks pump heat in to the heater core all the time when set on cold with the ac on. This shuts off the heat to the heater core and my ac is finally cold. Working out in the heat everyday in construction and this thing Is a God send when you can get in your truck and the ac is ice cold

I purchased this shut off valve to prevent water from flowing into the heater core in the summertime. It was easy to install and works perfectly.

It fits a 5/8 hose just fine. Anyone spliting hoses installing has old hoses that need to be replaced.

nice looking, but doesn't fit a 5/8" heater hose. Mechanic said it could be forced on with some lubricant but this weakens a heater hose. With car running such high temperatures that is a risky proposition. Seller should amend description that it's for a 3/4" . I should have wondered about the 'universal nature of this- my mechanic said a smaller OD could be wrapped with correct tape to fit into the 3/4 hose ID, but not vice versa!

The handle and valve are really loose. Can actually turn on its own from vibration.

I literally installed this in 3 minutes one morning as I was rushing off for an appointment. It did exactly what I needed it to do 1.) Restore air conditioning effectiveness. 2.) Very good selection of parts. As if you would have gone to the hardware store and picked em yourself. Daves you time and gas of getting these, may be worth most added expense.
