Yes indeed this strip stopped the water from streaming in. You really hardly notice it when the door is closed. Easy to apply, good directions and everything you need if your garage door leaks during storms.

I must admit that I was a bit unsure if this product was worth using. After installing it per the instructions I have to say that I'm happy and impressed with the shape of the seal and the way it meets up with the seal on the door. I bought the 20 foot length for my 16 foot door. That turned out to be a good size because the last 1.5 feet really didn't want to flatten out when uncoiled, even after being in the sun all day. No problem though as the rest of it laid down very nice. I would recommend you get the size slightly longer that you need, it's still a good value

Was easy to install, I stretched it out a whole day in advance so that it would not try to curl up when I glued it down. The last 6-8” still would not lay flat but I had to cut off almost a foot of it to fit my 9’ door anyway so that was not a problem. There was plenty of glue available and it laid down nicely. Very pleased with the results.

The seals seem to be good quality rubber and the application was easy. Just follow the included instructions. My one complaint is that they are coiled too tightly for shipment. The last four inches had a kink that wouldn't come out even after a week on the floor with a weight on them prior to installation. The weather is fast changing from fall to winter so I had to install them now. Had I known about the kink, I would have ordered 12 foot sills and had two feet of waste.I installed them on year old concrete in an old pole barn. The seals seemed to stick down well and along with new door bottom seals, should stop water infiltration under the doors, and the doors freezing to the concrete, I installed new door bottom seals also.

It was very easy to install and reasonably priced. We have not had any more flooding problems since we installed it. The quality of the stripping should last for years.
