Works for what is listed, but volume is greatly reduced when plugging in more than 1 audio source. If I knew there was such a volume reduction I wouldn’t have purchased this.

I bought it out of budget for a quick fix for my Akai Force having only one stereo in (or two mono in). Some reviews says the gain is low and etc but going from a few synths to the force, I haven't found that to be the case. I have ample gain to play around and I can easily go over 0db. Tbh, for that price it's truly a bargain. TRRS 3.5mm (⅛) balanced cables are also cheaper than standard balanced ¼ to ¼, which is an happy bonus to this thing. It's very small, surprisingly so super small, truly. All ports works fine and all are stereo. I got many 3.5mm to dual ¼ cables to plug everything in and use the gain on the synths and the drum machine, then use the virtual mixer as an extra gain staging step and it works just like it should. Seriously a real wonder why everyone else sell these mixer at an higher price point when this company could do it for so cheap and so good. If I ever need another solution like this, I'll buy a few others. I'm even thinking of adding a few extras inputs in my studio with this, so that I don't have to unplug and replug synths just to record them once at a time anyway.

This little red "MickXer" has been instrumental to cable management on my synth table, and it doubles as a handy connector when I want to bring my smaller synths outside. The color helps it easily be found, even when at the bottom of a bag.Great product, and even greater service from the seller, who helped coordinate the delivery. Thank you, MyVolts!

Myvolts is a very intuitive brand designed to make easier any synth, audio set up, I can use any combination in my synth collection with 0 noise and the best part is that is a passive mixer. I hope this brand to make in the near future a mixer with Eq and Fx send options still passive so I can isolate every sound input nicely! And make an interesting long set

I bought this myVolts 5 Way Passive Mixer for a very specific purpose, to connect my 5 Roland Boutique Synths to it and then send those Synths to one input on my Behringer line mixer, which then goes into a line input on my Tascam Model 12 ( I have an arsenal of Synths, Drumbrute Impact and a Turntable all connected either into the Behringer or directly into the line ins on the Tascam. This setup gives me a lot of flexibility without having to plug and unplug all the time and gives me access to many sounds simultaneously. This little passive mixer is perfect for my needs, all 5 of my Boutiques are always available, there is plenty a signal volume and I can always control the individual gain on the Roland’s if needed. This is a simple and very quiet device. It is so transparent you don’t even know it’s there. You can’t beat the price and it is well built.

Small inexpensive mixing solution. I use w Korg: Drum, Beats, Bass , Keys & eurorack . took out unwanted line noise. I use in studio to sum into 1010 Music BlueBox but mainly when out away from a power source.

I have a few pocket operators, volca synth, Crave, et al., most with 1/4" stereo output. Sometimes finding ways to route these can be a challenge. I recently had a gig where the house mixer had very few accommodations for my setup. The mickXer saved the day for sure. This is a simple solution that doesn't take up much space in your gig bag. The mickXer sounds clear and doesn't inject any noise into the signal.

For a passive mixer to add on a few, Korg, vocals, mono, trans, pocket operators, and just about anything you need to quickly use. It works pretty well. I have plenty of mixers, audio and DJ and obviously this is an inexpensive splitter but when you need some extra outputs, this thing definitely works. I really like my volts, and I like a lot of their products. This one actually surprised me and in retrospect, I wish I would have spent the extra $20 for the one that comes with the candy chords because I would’ve saved some money. My next purchase will be another one with the candy chords included because for the price you’re saving yourself about 30 bucks. If you are just jamming with some small instruments, learning, or you need to pop a few extra inputs in for a gig, this little mixer works quite well. How can you go wrong for the price?

After some reasonable testing over a 2 month period I can say this Item significantly lowered volume and changed character of signals coming through in a negative way. Unusable for any recording or live application . It made my drum machine and synths. Sound like garbage. Rip off really.
