Like it, looks very good and is solidly built. Some of the reviews, both positive and negative, don't appear to be about this one, oddly. The only addition for me would be a drain hole in the bottom (like my old one had) in case left open in rain or snow. I put one in and epoxied around the hole so it won't cause rust. Bought a bronze colored stick on number, looks good on it!

The immaterial was very flimsy, and the hindge rubbed against wall. Needed different hardware or spacer to allow to open freely

The design of this mailbox is the reason I bought it. The front of the box has a V shape, this makes getting the mail out of the box much easier, you don't have to stick your hand in the box to retrieve mail and it is easier to see if you have mail. What can one say about a mail box? A basic mailbox is a basic mailbox. The design of this mailbox makes it stand out. The box arrived it good condition and the fit and finish is good. If your mailbox is mounted higher or you are on the shorter side you don't have to stand on your toes to check for mail as the V shape puts mail in plain sight. The box is a bit more expensive, but the design makes it worth it.

Beautiful envelope shape closure has really nice pads on the underside to prevent the lid from banging when you close it came with the mounting hardware and overall beautiful construction and a good size. I Purchased this with a damaged outer box because I didn’t wanna pay full price and got it for about 15 or $16. I would recommend trying the used ones if they are available. Mine was in perfect condition just came with a damaged box.
