The concept is nice, but the implementation leaves something to be desired. Considering the volume of the lower bowl, I do not believe the upper bowl has sufficient capacity for dips, etc.

I bought this as a wedding gift for a friend. They loved it. I wish they had a bigger one because it doesn’t hold a lot of chips and dip.

My mother-in-law loved this birthday gift! It's shiny and beautiful. A little pricey but it's totally worth it. It is on the smaller side so check the dimensions before getting. I think it works for a small gathering of 4-6 people.

Waiting for the seller to approve my return and send me a return label. I did not realize the upper bowl holds only 2 ounces of dip. This super small bowl does not work for my needs. It's debatably enough dip for one person but chip bowl is big enough for 4 servings so it's an odd item for me to use for a party. May work for hot sauce and wings or edamame & soy? I need a chip and guacamole dish or fruit and fruit dip server. I did try inserting another small bowl onto upper dip tray but worried it would tip over. I plan on getting the larger Nambe version. I'll update How this turns out.

Love it! My daughter has lg one, but for now this is best I can do. It's useful and decorative.
