Does not fit the Darlington crib as advertised. When the front of the crib rail comes off, the top posts come off as a result, since it spans the whole length. Not sure what to do about these exposed corners. The screws do not line up either. I bought this ages ago to entice my daughter to potty train. She finally did but it's been 7 months and not sure if I can get a refund or not but it's supposed to fit our model and doesn't! What a pain

I managed to used it with the Graco crib and it was a challenge. I was lucky to utilize 2 existing holes but had to drill 2 more. And then I discovered that (of course) it is not from the solid wood. So I could not make the nice grooves to hide the screw heads with my handyman tools. But it worked.Unfortunately, our 3-year old so far just gets in to play but not to take a nap. In general, she likes it as we told her that it is not a baby crib anymore: it is the "big girl's bed". But no sleeping in it yet.We hope with some time she'll get used to it.So, I recommend it but it is up to your toddler to accept it or not.
