Realized I never wrote a review for this product, which I have used extensively for 3 years. Just this past camping trip I had to patch one tiny little hole. This thing is a game changer for camping. Once you know where everything needs to go, this can be completely set up in under 10 minutes. I've done it in the dark with no problem. It lets plenty of air into the car while also keeping it insulated and warm. Keeps rain out. I adore this thing and I'm thinking of buying a backup just in case it gets discontinued! If you want to car camp, this is definitely the way to do it.

I'll update this review once I've used this product more, but I wanted to review the fit for now. I have a 2017 Ford Edge and originally ordered the Small-Medium size. It was too small and I had to return it. The Medium-Large fits great. The zippers all work smoothly and seem high quality. It's easy to install and take down. I read some reviews that mentioned getting a larger carry bag to make it easier to put away, but I had no problem getting everything back in the bag it came with. I am using magnet strips on top of the "ruffle" along the sides to hold it tighter to the car. I haven't used the awning tie-downs or experienced it with rain or wind. Again, I'll come back and update my review later.

We purchased the tent to use with our 2005 Honda Odyssey on a recent road trip that involved long days of driving. After setting it up the first time, we found that it set up and took down very quickly compared to using a tent. It fit easily over the back hatch. The screen allowed air circulation which made sleeping very comfortable and kept mosquitoes out at the same time. The zippered door was easy to climb in and out of. The zipper snagged a few times on the label which could be cut off if that problem persists. We had a couple nights of rain and the tent was waterproof - we didn't have any issues with water leaking into the van. I wish the channel holding the tent pole was slightly larger as the pole can get caught as it is fed through. Some of the reviews we read before purchasing mentioned that it was difficult to fit back into the carrying bag and we found this to be true also, however, we simply got a duffle bag to store it in. I would definitely recommend this tent. It served our purpose very well.

My Napier Sportz is exactly what I was looking for and totally up to standard with high quality. The one thing I would have appreciated is dimension details for the two sizes available - ie. Small up to rear door width/height xxxcm or some other definite indication to make a more confident choice. I was left guessing... and thankfully chose OK.In particular I appreciate having the choice of bug net or blackout (both) while the awning is up.Very happy!

We put the tent to the test! Buggy location with humidity and rain. The canopy was perfect to keep the rain off while leaving the rain fly open, allowing for air circulation.Bugs were not a problem.Pros:fairly easy to install with one person, 2 people is a breeze.Easily adjusted to our Toyota Highlander.Canopy is really nice and kept rain off.Zips and unzips easily.Easy in and out access.Bottom end of the tent is made of heavy tarp material, makes for great shoe storage and prevents snags and tears getting in and out.Cons:Little challenging to fold up.Some gaps at the top but we did not get any bugs.Wish it had a big bug net to drop down over the canopy for sitting outside.Wish the zippers were YKK.Additional suggestions:Get window nets so the side door windows can be lowered for additional circulation.A rechargeable fan was a huge benefit for the muggy weather.

I’ve been wanting to get one of these tents for a while now and this was one of the most affordable ones I’ve seen. The quality is amazing, instructions are very clear. I was concerned about the practicality since I still need to use my car & you can’t drive with it on (obviously). It took me 5 minutes to set it up all by myself. I definitely recommend practicing setting up and taking it down before actually using it so you can be strategic while “camping”. All in all I am very satisfied, it is extremely practical, extremely happy about this purchase, would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! Shipping was also very fast, i purchased on Sunday and it got delivered on Tuesday!!

Bought this to fit a VW amarok with a truckman top fitted. I struggled to find any reviews that suggested it would fit but took a punt. It’s not a perfect fit but does seem to work based on one test run. I’ve yet to use it in anger and wonder how durable it will actually be after lots of use as it appears pretty flimsy

Easy to assemble. Practiced several times before going out and had a good routine. For the tent portion, 5 minutes with each of us on either side. Shade tent poles a pain to get in and arch but, ta-dah! As you see in the pictures we added some bungee cords to tighten it up. Stayed tight to the car even in moderate wind.We didn’t know they came in different sizes. A little big for the PT Cruiser but with finagling, pretty much a perfect fit. I posted a couple of pictures so you could see how well the hatch corners were protected. Great shade cover.Because of the strong wind at night where we are, we took the polls out of the shade cover and as you see in photo, just crossed and tied the cords. Kept us tight and secure. This of course would not work if you were needing to get out of the back hatch. We used the side doors.Love the screen netting. Allowed airflow to keep cool and at night, no mosquitoes!! Yay!! Getting a different car next year and definitely will be purchasing another one of these, the correct size. Just know you can make it work if you have ordered one too big.Everyone was quite impressed at the park and had to check it out.No more sleeping on the ground! Happy wife. Happy hubby. Oh, I don’t have the height to put it on by myself, but I easily tore it down and put it back in its case in less than 5 minutes.

Sometimes I just like to drive to a state park in the evening, after work, and sleep out under the stars. I really don't have time to do anything else. This little SUV tent is amazing for those types of quick, spontaneous trips. My vehicle is a Subaru Forester. This model of this tent is not specifically designed to fit my auto but it fits very well enough. The other model of this tent is designed to specifically fit my Subaru, but that model of this tent does not have the awning feature. The tent slips on over the hatch and the corners of the hatch are supposed to fill a pocket in the corners of the underside of the tent. The hatch door of my Subaru does not jet out at 90 degrees and are more curved, so the corners of the hatch door are only partially inserted into the corner tent pockets. No big deal. There is enough give and strap attachments on the rest of the tent to make it fit great. The colors on this model of this tent are also more appealing than the other model of this tent. They are silver grey and black. The other model of this tents' colors are bright blue and white. So, if you are considering this tent, but it is not specifically designed to fit your hatchback SUV I wouldn't worry about it. I think most people would be more satisfied with this model of this tent rather than the other model. Very easy to attach to car and set up. Takes a max of 10 minutes the first time. Seems very well constructed. Materials and seams seem sturdy. Things manufacturer/designers could improve on. Make the pocket on the underside of the awning part of the tent, that the hatch slides into universal. Extend it to full length across the the tent edge so any hatch door would fit. Provide attached to tent stuff pouches for the guide lines. This is an affordable, quick, convenient, sturdy little tent for overnighters. 4 stars given related to my purposed redesign to create a universal fit of this model tent.
