If you're going as deep as taking the front axles out, just replace all the seals while you're there, save the headache a year or two from now. And use the good parts, National or US equivalent. There are Chinese replacement parts at the local XYZ parts store, but that rubber is missing something, it decomposes in a few years and you'll be doing the repair again. And again...
