I had a leaking axle seal so I replaced the seal and the bearings. Amazon sent me the wrong seal for one of the sides, so I had to return it and reorder. If you are doing this job, Old Iron Offroad has a great video on youtube. I made the axle tube cleaning brush out of a piece of 1/4" threaded rod, a 1/4" extended length nut, and I cut 1/4" threads in a Harbor Freight 1/4" shaft wire brush. It worked great to clean the axle. Lubed the seal and it fit great. The seal is made in Mexico.

Used in my 91 Grand Wagoneer. Went through a few different bearing/seal combinations. After thorough research, only the Timken SET10 bearing and this seal will keep the oil in your Dana 44 rear axle. Don’t let anyone tell you different.

Product fit fine, but I had a customer request a Timken seal that I could not find locally. I received a National seal that I could get anywhere. Not worth sending back but I had to paid for something my customer did not want.
