Cute little loom. I got this for my 10 year old who has shown interest in weaving. There were no instructions included, so I had to come back to the listing to see how to put it together. Not a huge deal, but then I think maybe you need to glue the frame together because it kept popping apart during use, which would affect the warp. If you can get the frame to stay put, I think it would be really fun for a kid or adult. Unfortunately, my daughter got frustrated with it popping apart and eventually gave up. I'm going to try gluing it and having her give it another try.

Yes, it is a very inexpensive loom and you get what you pay for. I wasn't expecting a top of the line loom BUT it is sufficient enough to use and see if it's something that I'd be interested in enough to invest on a really nice one. To actually put it together I found the wood slots where you put the other piece of wood into it were not wide enough and it wouldn't fit. All I did was lightly hammer the end to where it fits into the other piece of wood to make it thinner and it fit right in. I hope I explained that enough that you get the general idea. Was it worth the money? Absolutely if your trying to decide if this is something you would like to do before spending a lot on another hobby. And no, I wasn't paid or given this to write this review.

It's made of sandalwood and is actually a hair comb but nonetheless it's still useful. Comb and heddle are good quality for price.

The pieces don’t fit together, there’s no illustration or directions. Spend a little more and get something useable.

I don't use the Chinese comb, though. Probably for weaving. I used the shuttle for making a pom pom blanket.
