My cats love this bowl. They don’t use it for scratching, but curl up in it to sleep. I bought it for exactly that reason and am happy they really like it. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it was expensive for being all cardboard. It does seem sturdy, however, and still looks new after a couple weeks of use. I got the regular size and my 12 pound void fits in it nicely.

Any cat any size or age loves this product. I have a foster home and these out last anything on the market. Cats roll, play, sleeep amd scratch I. This thing for months and it stays in tact. Even cats with nails that are hard to trim it lasts. Inserts when needing replaced are easy to order and use. The sizes are purrfect too!

Our boy loves this bowl! This was the first time we bought a replacement scratcher for it. He loves to lay in it to chill, it’s his preferred scratching toy, and he prefers to sleep in it as well. We love how big it is and fits his whole body (he’s a big boy) - this is the biggest bowl shaped scratcher we’ve ever found. We highly recommend it!

This cat tree is not only stylish but its held up well after a year. My key points for this product are:1. If your cat likes cardboard scratchers then they will like this, my cat has no interest in sisal products but lives on this scratcher and uses it.2. The sides are interchangeable so you can flip it over once one side is worn out which increases longevity.3. They sell separate replacement pads so you can have this for years without worry or need to re-buy the entire thing.

Was initially disappointed with this product because I thought it was a bit expensive for the fact that it’s basically cardboard. But my three cats always want to get in it and if one cat is in it another one will just squeeze itself in. I’ve never seen all three cats love the same bed as much as this one. Plus it’s a great scratcher, especially when you sprinkle a little catnip. I would definitely buy it again.

My cats LOVE this!!! I bought 2 in fact. They "use it" for scratching...they really do. They also like sleeping on it, and they like climbing it, and using it for staging with regard to "pouncing." They play on it!!!And,, I LOVE it because I was looking for something that looked more like regular furniture for my office. But, it turned out to be such a hit that I bought the second one for the livingroom because it looks nice with our "people furniture." We do have a regular kitty tower in the corner of the livingroom out of the way, but this way they can sit with us on their own furniture, and it looks great. I LOVE IT, AND THEY LOVE IT, and that's what you really need to know. It's "lightweight," and easy to move around. It's just "PURRRRRFECT." Great design, and WICKED EASY TO PUT TOGETHER, TOO!!!

First off, the double Necoichi bowl does not come in extra large. My cats are15 pounds each and my Ragdoll. Is a long cat. The reviews on the single bowl have been fantastic and it seems most cats love it. I bought the new double bowl thinking both cats wouldn’t have to fight over it. Neither one has tried to even set a foot on it. I have put it in different locations, next to windows, next to furniture. They will not try it out. I thought of picking the cats up and setting them on it, but my experience is doing this doesn’t work, even with beds. They hop right out. I am very disappointed because this was a fairly expensive purchase and it sits in a corner next to our bedroom window as an unused piece of cat furniture. My suggestion for these cat bed companies is to consider larger cats and offer larger pieces of furniture and bedding. It was difficult rating this because they haven’t tried it out. I will say it was easily assembled and seems prey sturdy. Waste of money for me.I am writing an update to give the Necoichi bowl 4 stars After discovering that Simon would go in the bottom level after I added some dry catnip flakes. He has slept in I three times now but prefers sleeping on the floor next to it. My main concern is that it is not large enough for large breed cats like Ragdolls and Maine Coons. He does not like the top level.Well, give a cat time to make up his mind. Simon now curls up on the bottom most of the time and has figured out how to get to the top level. When it sits on carpet it is very wobbly as he tries to get on it. I have my recliner chair to stabilize it between the wall and the chair. He jumps up on my chair and walks right over to the top level. This is his favorite place to sleep. My other cat won’t have anything to do with it.
