The Neewer umbrella is well-made, though I am not a fan of how the diffuser attaches. The biggest issue I have encountered is that the light isn't soft enough. I have to use an additional diffuser, which creates a beautiful, natural light but adds another stand to the setup. If you are looking for an inexpensive umbrella to reflect and soften light, this is a great buy, but you may need additional diffusion to get the look you are going for.

This is my first time using a massive umbrella and I will be using it primarily for newborn and kids photography. It produces incredibly soft light and I am using it with a Godox AD200 at about 1/8 to 1/16 power at f4. It's well made and feels premium. It is a bit heavy so make sure you're using this with a sturdy light stand. I am using this with a Neewer 102" (8.5 ft) light stand it ain't moving anywhere!

Very happy happy with purchase, a great addition to my portable studio flash kit. Lovely big umbrella with soft diffuser. The carry bag is a good bonus, it’s quite flimsy so not sure if it will last. Def helps create a large soft light to replicate day light or just a great soft high key light. I’m using it with my Godox 400pro.

I was asked to do a baby shoot for a family and decided to try a larger Parabolic Umbrella instead of a softbox. Umbrella, arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Easy to set up and take down. Used with my Flashpoint R2 ZoomLi-ON X mounted on a Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket, S-Type Bracket. Very happy with purchase and seller.

I think this has become my new fav modifer for both still photography and motion picture filmmaking applications. I use this to achieve a soft quality of light for interview setups and also when I'm doing studio portrait jobs. Great for headshots! Very versatile modifer. I love the size as well. It's huge enough to get you a big soft source but also isn't that deep like a traditional softbox that takes up more depth in your space. The carrying bag could have been made with a higher quality material though and a little more space for the diffusion rag itself. It also has a weird odor so I think the diffusion may need to be washed to get rid of that smell. All in all it's a great product and I'm loving it!

I use this paired with a Godox AD200 pro strobe for my home indoor studio for portraits and newborn photography. Light is nice and diffused and there are no weird shadows. This thing is huge though, so it can be a little bit heavy. Make sure your stand and mounting configuration are sturdy. If you use this outdoors, make sure it is not windy, because it is a big sail. Since it is an umbrella, it packs down quite nicely.

When I purchased this it was cheaper than the Westcott and came with the diffuser. It gives a soft light and is usable with my Godox V1. I'm a little worried about how the center pole will hold up with extended use considering the weight of this guy, but for now, it's great!
