I had my reservations when I ordered these in lieu of spending over 600 USD on a macro lens for my Nikon Z6ii. But first, a bit of history:I'm not a professional photographer. I used to have a 40mm "micro" lens for my old crop sensor very consumer-grade Nikon DSLR in the past for similar situations. Needless to say, even with the adapter, a DX format lens wasn't going to work well on my full frame Z6ii. I considered the 50mm Z mount macro lens that Nikon makes, but given that I no longer do a ton of macro photography (I mainly used it for close-up product shots of handmade jewelry -- I'm a former Etsy shop owner), I just couldn't justify spending the money on a lens I won't use a ton. These days, I'm geared more for dog photos (shows) and landscapes on road trips. So, I considered both this type of magnification filter and/or extension tubes for my existing lenses. I dislike the concept of the extension tubes mainly because they go between the lens and the body and the communication failures that could result from that configuration, so I decided to start with the filters and then try the tubes if I wasn't happy with the results from the filters.I bought the 72mm filters to fit my 24-70 f/4 lens, and I shot a series of 5 pendants that I made recently and needed to share images. I first attempted to just shoot the pendants without the filters. Disaster. Images were way underexposed (too much light lost by being so far away), and I'd have to do way too much cropping and post processing to make them look decent. My jewelry photography setup is a seamless background/stage plus a pretty large light fixture that disperses and bounces the light down onto the seamless stage below (a bit nicer than your average photo "box" setup). The problem with using the regular Z series lenses here is that most have a minimum subject distance of nearly a foot. When I'm looking for specific angles, and I have to navigate around a background and light fixture, needing 12 inches between lens and subject is a major no-go.Enter these filters -- they were far better than they have any right to be for the price I paid for them. Are they perfect? No. Same as having a proper macro lens? No. But do they do what I need and produce nice images in spite of all that? YES! And they didn't cost me over $600. My images are crisp where it counts (crisp enough, anyway -- I blame myself for some extra camera shake since I didn't use my tripod even with the higher magnification). They allowed me to get much closer to my subject, which maximized light and reduced my post processing time.Things to note: these will reduce your depth of field significantly (like any macro lens will, but these are even more fussy, since the edges get soft quickly). How badly depends on your lens and which filter you're using. I found the +10 to be worthless at 70mm for my setup -- depth of field was so narrow I'd have to stitch multiple shots together to get the full subject in focus. I did get some interesting distortions at the edges with the +10 filter, but honestly, it was too much for what I am doing -- I didn't expect to even USE the +10, I only tried it for fun. I like the +2 and +4 filters the most for my work. The +4 allowed me to get in nice and close and get the shots I needed. These could be quite fun for more artistic shots, too. I'm definitely going to get good use out of them, and I'm tempted to order a set for my 70-200 f/2.8 just to see what I can do with them when I need to be much further from my subject (like outdoors).

If you're a new photographer and starting to get gear to get creative with your photography work, these magnification rings don't work. Save your money and buy the right lens or lens adapters not this cheap stuff.

I am not a professional photographer but I take a lot of pictures. These macro lenses are well made and fit perfectly on the end of my Canon lens.Since these are not a full fledged professional macro lens you should not expect the same results. These do, however, make it easy for the average person to take close up pictures without the expense of a professional lens. These are convenient to carry since they take little space and weight in your camera bag.For my purposes, these take clear images for my needs. These will be slight differences between these and pro lenses especially towards the lens edges. These come in a convenient carry bag to keep the lenses clean and scratch free.

I have owned NEEWER filters before. They are a high quality product. They came in a nice case to keep them organized an safe from scratches. I was able to screw them on immediately and start macro photography.

Using this with a Sigma Prime lens allows me to get close and capture some macro shots without the expense of having to run out and purchase a lens specific for macro photography. Since I do not shoot much macro photography these give me the option when the desire/need arises. These are a great addition to anyone's kit.

This filter kit works great! I only needed the +1 as a focus adapter to use an external lens for my cell phone. It is crystal clear and works perfectly.

This set of macro close up filters came in with all 4 in a storage pouch that is easy to carry.I had some high hope on these filters, but in trying them out, I found their optical quality is not that great that made the image soft and fringing, especially of the 10X one. While this set is not high priced like those from the camera maker brands, its optical quality is more suitable for casual usage.I am attaching some photos here without specify which filter or no filter was used on them. One can make own judgment on how suitable they are.
