High polished stainless finish to a very multi-function addition to my light stand set. It allows many specialty uses for both my video and photography needs in the studio. Its heavy and very rugged. Pairs well with my heavy duty Neewer stands.

Great build quality, and does exactly as it says. Nice bit of kit to give you the ability toount multiple lights to one large stand. Or combine lights to shoot through diffusion. Or even (as ive used) to mount multiple monitors to a single stand.

Great solution if you need to mount something like a small camera where you can't fit a normal support these are a great option - they fit on the Manfrotto Auto poles & C stands that we use & are solid enough to give stable support for something like a PTZ etc.

Pros:- Very strong and sturdy- Compatible with both ⅝ baby pin stands and standard light stands- Extra screw hole for standard light stands or other mountsCons:- Can cause high torque on standard light stands which are not designed for handling torque loadingThe NEEWER Offset Arm with Dual ⅝ Baby Pins for LED Video Light is a heavy-duty beast. It is heavier and stronger than expected. At 4.4 pounds, you will need an equally heavy-duty light stand to support it. With the super sturdy construction, the light stand will likely break before this offset arm does. It is that strong. However, looking at the ⅝ baby pin light stand mount, I was initially a little disappointed that none of my standard light stands would fit! I don’t have anything with a ⅝ baby pin to accept this arm. Fortunately, upon further examination, the arm has an extra screw hole to work with a standard light stand mount. I just need to reverse-mount the arm as shown. Yes, this arm does fit a standard light stand mount as shown! I am so delighted and relieved. However, as shown in the photo, most standard light stands have a 2-piece design on the top mount. That is the gold-coloured piece on top and the silver tube. Most are designed to handle top-down loads but not heavy torque on top of the light stand. Due to the heavy weight of the arm together with the weight of the light, the torque on the gold piece on top of the light stand will be extremely high. If the standard light stand is not well-designed for heavy torque like this, the gold-coloured top piece may break off from the light stand. Therefore, I suggest that one would need to exercise caution if using a standard light stand. In the end, being a one-piece design, a ⅝ baby pin is what is needed to comfortably handle the load of this heavy-duty arm in the long run.In conclusion, there is no doubt that the Neewer offset arm is strong and sturdy. One needs to make sure the light stand also has the capacity to handle the arm. I highly recommend using a light stand with a ⅝ baby pin to hold this arm, even though a standard light stand mount will fit. However, the overall strength of the assembly is more questionable when a standard light stand mount is used to hold the offset arm. Furthermore, it is paramount that the base of the light stand be supported by sandbags or the like, otherwise, the chance of the light stand tipping over and breaking your lighting gear is very high.

This piece of grip is heavy and sturdy, but ironically makes my impact rolling stand super unstable. I used two sandbags on the legs and didn't feel great about putting my light and modifier on this.

This thing is the BEST! I've got 4 C-Stands that I use for various lighting in my studio. My favorite thing about C-Stands is how sturdy they are. My least favorite thing about them is that the shortest they can be is 4 feet tall. I wish C-Stands weren't so tall. I've never needed them to stretch up to they're tallest, which is like 10 and a half feet tall. I'm sure some people need that height, but I don't. And shorter C-Stands are harder to come by. But this offset arm solves that issue. I can attach this arm anywhere I want to my C-Stand and it allows me to have my lights lower than like 4 feet. This is great! Plus, it has two baby pins, so technically I could now have up to 3 different things attached to a single C-Stand. I cannot praise this thing enough. It's obviously going to be tough if you've got a big heavy light that you want to use, but for small or medium sized lights, it's perfect.

I have really enjoyed Neewer products over the years. They are well made and at a good price. This arm is a rock! no skimping on this product. it is heavy and really instills confidence that it is not going to fail on my expensive strobes. Being that it is a beefy arm, I would recommend using sandbags or a real beefy stand (or both).I am really enjoying the versatility of added lower lights, flags, etc on one stand. I can't say enough about the great value os Neewer products and this is no exception!
