  • MAKE DOWNRIGGING SIMPLER: Get rid of the heavy balls and bulky equipment for the simple lightweight design of Zwing Hydrodynamic Downrigger Weights! Start using more effective simpler downrigger weights with the Nekton Zwing!
  • SUPERIOR HYDRODYNAMIC DESIGN: This lightweight downrigger weight uses its shape to remain more stable at depth than traditional balls. The Zwing uses less line to reach deeper. To reach 15 feet deep a ball needs 45 feet of line, where the Zwing 150 only needs 19 feet!
  • MADE FOR HIGH SPEEDS: The Zwing 150 is a 1.5lbs downrigger weight made for high speed trolling (4-10 knots). This hydrodynamic weight uses a stainless steel towing bracket to secure to the tow line. We recommend a minimum 200lb test tow line.
  • USING THE ZWING: This lightweight advanced plastic weight works with trolling and downrigger setups and is perfect for fresh and salt water fishing. It's also the perfect tool for underwater photography and videography, net towing, data collection and more.
  • ABOUT ZWING: ZWinger Downrigger is located in Natick, Massachusetts right here in America. We've worked with engineers and fishermen from across the USA to make a system that gives you more stability than any other downrigger system.

Nekton Zwing Hydrodynamic Downrigger and Towing Weight (350, Yellow)
Get rid of the bulky weights and use the advanced hydrodynamic power of the Zwing for a lighter, better, smoother experience. The Zwing's unique winged design uses the motion of the boat and water to drag itself downward and keep itself level deep beneath the water. Because of our design, you need much less tow line than you would use with a ball to reach the same depths. A ball would require about 45 feet of line to reach 15 feet deep, but the Zwing 350 only needs 16 feet!
The Zwing 350 comes in at an easy lightweight 1.5lb, we keep the weight low with an advanced plastic body and use a stainless steel bracket to anchor downrigger and tow lines. The body is made to stand up to heavy salt water and fresh water use. The simple hydrodynamic design keeps your line at a more level depth making it better for fishing at a specific depth, underwater photography, videography, data collecting, net pulling, and more.
Zwing Downrigger: A Better Way to Troll

Running anywhere from 1.5 to 3 mph, 45° plus blow back. Ran a 12 lb fish weight side by side, 10° Blow back on the fish, 45°+ on the wing. Maybe it would pull down at faster speeds, but not where I need it to be. Love the idea, and can see how it could work. Maybe a design change for inland lake trolling and slower speeds?

Been using one of these for 20 years. No more banging weights inside my boat. Definitely uses less cable at all depths. If you don’t like these then you’re using it wrong. Plain and simple

Its light but does not offer less blowback compared to stick weights. Tried at different trolling speeds. Love the idea, was hoping for better performance. May be good solution for small boat owners trying to keep the weight of accessories to a minimum.

This product works as advertised. It weighs only 3.5lbs, but, functions better then a 10lb ball on my downrigger.I was able to drop the Zwing to 90ft (indicator on my Cannon Downrigger) at a significantly stepper angle then typical downrigger ball.

Trails behind the boat at a 45 degree angle no matter how slow you go

Works great... wouldnt say it holds the 15° angle if any deeper than 35', or if your trolling faster than 4mph. But blows away any style downrigger ball ive used. Can effectively troll 5-6mph at any depth ive tried. Happy with purchase

Dives better than the prior versions. Essential if trolling for kings.
