I have a Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector that was missing the NEMA 14-50 Adapter. After picking this up, I compared it with the Tesla OEM 14-50 Adapter from another Gen 2 Mobile Connector my family has. Build quality appears to be similar but the OEM has an embased Tesla logo and this cable is just a hair longer in length. I did notice that the OEM has a more rubberized texture on the plug and on top of the part you insert into the adapter. They both allow for the max 32A from the mobile connector providing the quickest charge for your Model S, E, X, Y or Cybertruck. I will remind everyone that the Tesla Wall Mount will provide the best charging speeds but isn’t always feasible or best. Say if you’re on vacation, living in a rental, or if your situation only allows for a 40 amp or 50 amp connection at your residence.I did contact the seller who said that they do have CE/FCC/RoHS/IP65 certified but the item is not UL Listed or Certified. This might be an TMI, but according to Google AI Overview. Both UL and CE are safety and quality certifications designed to ensure products meet specific standards. UL is used in the US, while CE is mostly used in Europe. UL certification is derived by Third-party testing where as the CE Certification process is based on the manufacturer self-declaration. Take it for what it’s worth that it’s CE certified and not UL. But hey, if CE certification is good enough for Europe… and in full transparency, even after my extensive Googlefu, I wasn’t able to verify the Tesla OEM adapter is UL certified either.Pros:- Charge at the same rate as the OEM Tesla branded NEMA 14-50 Adapter- The ORM Tesla adapter is $45 + Shipping & Tax making this a bit more affordableCons:- The longer cord can make it hard to store in the Tesla Gen 2 Mobile Connector zipper case- The descriptions says (and the manufacture verified) the adapter is CE/FCC/RoHS/IP65 certified but not UL Listed or certified. This is important to me as UL Listed products mean they meet specific safety and sustainability standards according to an independent 3rd partyWould I recommend this item to a friend? Yeah. I like it. Build quality feels like that of the Tesla OEM adapter and it allows for charging at as much as 32A, same as OEM. I’m concerned about it not being UL Listed when dealing with such high volts and amps for extended periods of time such as charging an EV where the load is 32A, 240v for several hours. But like I said, I couldn’t verify if the Tesla one was either (I did not contact Tesla)

my original header is broken due to too much twister. This one functions the same as the original one.

No issues works great.Quality of the connector seems as good as the factory one. No issues hanging the charger off the connector. Connection to the charger feels as snug and secure as OEM.Had no issues charging at the full 32 amps of the mobile connector. No excessive heat from the cable while charging either. It's a good option and value now that Tesla does not sell individual adapters

This NEMA 14-50 adapter fits perfectly into the OEM Tesla mobile charger and works just like the original. Charging speed and performance are the same as my OEM 14-50 adapter, with no issues. It’s a solid alternative at a slightly lower price, making it a good option if you need a replacement or backup.
