Great kit for installing 240 welder plug. comes with everything and instructions are simple. Please follow all electrical codes when working with 240 as its not forgiving.

We're in reno mode and our kitchen range had to be relocated necessitating a 4 conductor 250VAC/50Amp Wall Receptacle so as to meet the Fire Code. [FYI - Old 3 conductor cords and wall plates are not allowed by the new code when relocating an electric range from it's original location.] The EDYCARX Nema 14-50 Outlet with Square Wall Plate, 50 Amp 125/250 Volt Receptacle made the new install a breeze as it's a complete unit with the receptacle and steel plate ready to go. We highly recommend it as it's a quality product, excellent for the application and fairly priced.

It's a receptacle so there's not a lot to go wrong. Everything fit well and the project is successfully complete and now I've got 240v in my shop.

I used this to add an outside outlet for welders, etc. I have only used it a couple of time. I should not call it a "Heavy Duty" outlet but is not junk. It installed as expected and has worked fine the couple of time I have used it. If I were going to be plugging things into it every day i would likely look for a more robust outlet, but for my occasion use I think it will be fine.
