This is made in China. China has zero rules, regulations, laws against poisoning people etc. I recently saw a video about how they are making Plastics in China from Medical waste. The process introduces chemicals that cause cancer. I recently discovered this FACT. To my dismay I've seen videos and reviews of filters made in China confirming my suspicions where people got the water tested and low and behold it had toxic cancer causing chemicals in it.I like the other neo-pure filters the ones made in the USA and South Korea, but I REFUSE TO USE A MADE IN CHINA FILTER. These companies think they are saving money by selling us these inferior toxic filters. Well you won't make money if no one buys the toxic crap.The only way any company in the USA should be selling Chinese water filters is if they send one out of each batch for testing. Don't give me this NSF certification BS. My IQ is really HIGH I understand how this game of dishonesty works with the Chinese. What they do to get the certification is send one or how ever the minimum required number of filters for testing is, which have been manufactured to specs. Then after they get the NSF rating they go back to using the illegal ingredients., WE ARE NOT ALL STUPID.I refuse to poison myself with garbage filters. This US company needs to really question whether they should sell these or not, and if they do they should batch test and provide the results on their website. Waterdrop is one of the companies that sell TOXIC FILTERS FYII am in the process of tossing all "Made in China " Water filters at this moment, now that i know the unwavering truth, I won't use a "Made in China" filter and you shouldn't either if you cherish your health and don't want cancer.I get tired of US companies selling me "Made in China" garbage, THAT NEEDS TO STOP!

Not all polypropylene sediment filters are seemingly the same, though appearing identical initially. Take for example these mechanical filtration filters rated for 5 micron that fit perfectly in the first stage of our 4-stage RO unit. While we normally run a 10-micron to filter out the metals, we had enough pressure to go down to a 5-micron and this product from Neo-Pure seems to be doing well in that capacity. That said, and premature clogging aside which was expected, the girth of the material substrate seems to be a bit less than the typical filters we purchase. We’re unsure if that has anything to do with effectiveness but it brings to question a possible issue of long-term durability and value since a roll of this material goes for 30% more than what we typically pay for a 10-micron filter that’s also NSF-rated.

The Neo-Pure MB-25098-05 Polypropylene Sediment Depth Filter with 5 Micron, 9 7/8", White was obtained to see if it is better than am currently buying as a whole house filter. We obtain water from a well, which contains sediment, which is not bad for you, just unsightly. These filters stop the sediment where the water enters the house. The installation is easy enough once you learn how to do it and I know how long it should last. If it don't last very long or it allows sediment into my dishes, I will update this review.

This is just okay. This is very lightweight and nothing to it. We've had it in a few days and I can already see this isn't going to last long by any means. It's super cheap, but that doesn't always mean a good thing. You're better off just investing in a better filter from the get go.

I did not expect this filter to be smaller and have less material weight then the other ones. I also did not expect to have to worry about dangerous chemicals being in my filters of all things. But since this filter is sketchy I now worry. I guess some things are just not worth getting a deal. Some things are fine to get the cheap or generic version but filters are not one of those things. Other then that they do fit and they do let water pass through them.
