I bought extra large. Seemed too tight in some areas and too loose in others. Also, quality didn't inspire confidence that they would last long I wound up returning and instead buying some less expensive neoprene diving gloves and cut off the finger tips. Worked great.

I've been using these gloves (multiple sets) for biking, water sports, and fitness. The fit is good and they have been comfortable and durable with little stretching. I've run them through wash and dry cycles with no shrinkage. My only complaint is that they are more difficult to remove than necessary. I have other gloves with finger pulls (little pockets on the fingers) that are easier to remove (and much more expensive).Overall, I'll continue to purchase these as I wear out my existing pairs. They have been available for at least a few years already.

UPDATE: I tried to do monkey bars in the rain and simply couldn't. I am not confident these will work as well as I hoped in wet environments. They are still great for dry training though and for the price I'm very happy with them.Original review: I bought these gloves for a Tough Mudder. As I am writing this review I am still training and have yet to do the actual event. They are very good for monkey bars. I was struggling with the bars at my local park because by the time I ran my sweaty self to the park, my hands were too slippery to grip. With these gloves, grip is no longer an issue. I especially like the Velcro wrist straps because they keep the gloves from slipping off my hands. I am a woman on the tall side, so I bought a size medium. They fit great.

I got these for a five-day rafting trip where I was worried that my hands would get torn apart from holding a paddle all day. These worked really well for me! I like that they are fingerless and they were very comfortable while paddling and helped a lot on my trip. I will say that the sizing is a bit smaller than I thought it would be. I have small hands for a girl and I got the smallest size and these were riding the line on being too small and being uncomfortable between my fingers. I would say unless you are a child or have very small hands to go up a size to be safe, the wrist is tightened easily with a velcro strap so I think even if these happened to be a little too big you would do just fine.

Used these for a week of canoeing and they’ve held up great! I can’t see any wear and tear or defects. Thickness is good so no blisters.I used their size chart which turned out to be accurate.

Love these. Originally bought a pair of these for obstacle course races, and they worked great for those venues, although you'll want to take them off for monkey bars and rigs (bare hands grip better when wet, so just do it). They've also been my go to workout gloves, and I finally wore them out after a year of heavy use (5 OCR and workouts 3x/week for over a year). This is a replacement pair. I like the 3/4 finger length as it protects my grip better when lifting, and the neoprene backing material makes them quick drying. Pads and wrists are still in great shape, but the fingers started to split (but I really hammered them, so no unexpected). Like these better than workout gloves, as the pads are about half the thickness and you get a better grip.

I use these for stand up paddleboarding (SUP) and I don't get blisters on my hands anymore! The first time I took my SUP out this season, I paddled comfortably for over 2.5 hours (about 7 miles) around the local lake. Awesome! These are comfortable, with nice thick padding on the palms that has decent grip without being sticky. They dry fast and my hands aren't excessively warm either, even when using in 80-90 degree temperatures. I also like that they provide some sun protection. They have some stretch across the back of the glove, and fit me perfectly. I wish I had bought them sooner and saved my hands from some nasty blisters. Would be great for kayaking, too!

i ordered these after a couple of kayak outings of a few hours long each during which the wet handle rubbing on my thumbs caused hot spots or small blisters. these gloves are tight and comfortable, the padding is thin but adequate, and not cumbersome, and the neoprene backs are very thin, which is preferable. they won't do much for warmth, but i don't want them for that. as kayak gloves they are aces. the padding doesn't seem very durable, but time will tell. the XS size fits nicely.

I purchased these to wear during Tough Mudder. They worked great and kept my hands protected while pulling ropes, climbing ropes, and protected me from splinters. They stayed very comfortable when wet and covered in mud. The only draw back is that they do not grip well on metal it was impossible for me to grip onto and cross the monkey bars. These got very dirty and sat in a plastic bag covered in mud and smelling like a locker room for like a month on my back porch after the race. I threw them in the washing machine and they came perfectly clean and as good as new. I have loaned them to friends for mud runs and I also use them to prevent blisters when working in my yard.
