The first set of these lasted 5+ years. But they do wear out over time. I wouldn't get in the water with out them.

These are a definite buy if you like the gloves to come up higher on your arm. They are fabulous for me. I do cold water pool exercise and the keep my hands warmer so I can work out longer in 42 degree or colder water temperatures. Great quality, I hope they will last me a long time. They fit tight and and snug

These are great gloves up to this point. The size is too tight though and results in a fight to get them on when in the water. Should have went up a size, but this is common to happen when ordering dive gear online. Aside from my mistake, they work well and are solid gloves. I have simply given mine to someone with smaller hands and they work great for them. I do intend on ordering the next size up and should be all set at that point. No complaints!

Great product I used them to jet ski in the cold lakes. Only issue it’s super hard to put them back on when they are wets. It’s stick to your skin. But it’s neopr that’s the purpose of the product

I bought these for winter swimming. I wore them in 8 degree Celsius for a 20 minute swim and they were very warm and comfortable. Perfect for what I was looking for!

I purchased these to be used when riding my PWC in colder weather, so I can't attest to their effectiveness when submerged long-term in cold water, but in the event you like to do any water-related sports in cold weater (and I've used these when it was 28 degrees outside traveling at 70+mph on the water), these will fit the bill.I use them in conjunction with a drysuit and can confidently know that I'll remain comfy in frigid temps. The design and materials of these gloves allow them to be thin enough so your hands will still have flexibility and can be used even when you need dexterity, but the materials allow you to keep warm, even with wind. They perform much better than much thicker gloves at keeping blood flow moving through my hands. In fact, I've even taken them and used them for off-water activities. I also enjoy ATV riding, and I used to sport the thickest, most padded gloves I could to try to stay warm when riding, always to be disappointed. I've replaced them with these gloves as they keep me warmer and I can actually still feel the clutch engagement and throttle much better. I've also used them in winter storms when removing snow from my driveway. Again, they kept me warmer while providing more dexterity and sensation in my hands. If you can't tell, that's really important to me, and my biggest gripe with gloves is losing the ability to use your hands with precision. These will prevent that!

I purchased these gloves the day prior to a cold weather (freezing temps) canoe trip down a river. Arrived same day, fit nicely, wore them all day for 3 days through snow and rain. Flexible neoprene that didn't feel too stiff on the paddle grip. Didn't tear or show signs of wear navigating over log jams and beaver dams. Hands will get wet bit saved my fingers from freezing.

I exercise in the PNW waters (Lake Washington) every day and have suffered from cold hands for too long. Things changed when I bought these. I used them yesterday, Oct 15th, for the first time and am thrilled to say my hands were toasty warm. It was so nice. My prior gloves allowed too much water to flow through, which chilled my fingers and palms. The velcro wrist strap is a major factor in not letting new cold water flow through the glove. Instead, the water stayed in and warm, as it should be. They're also a great thickness for cold waters, yet easy to pull on and off. And a perfect fit. I have long fingers and wear large in women's gloves. The small fit perfectly. I am literally stoked about these gloves. Having them will make the PNW waters much more welcoming come Dec and Jan.

These gloves were shipped to me very quickly with Amazon prime two day shipping. The fit:I took the advice to buy one size up. I am 175cm five foot nine inches tall with normal size hands for someone my height. I found a little bit of slack on my thumbs and pinky, and about 3mm slack on top of my middle and index fingers. If I could have my choice again I would probably try the medium size. However, maybe having a tightly fitting rubber glove will limit the motion of my fingers much more. So that's something worth considering while you are buying these gloves. The wrist strap on these gloves were designed pretty nicely, there are two piece of velcro that tightly sandwiches the receiving end of the velcro. The gloves feel very secure on my hands and do not slip off when I grip something and start pulling. The warmth:They are warm when I have them on and make my hands sweat. But I haven't had a chance to try them in cold water while my entire body is also not very warm. One sucky thing though is that the sweat stays in the gloves as it's not really made to dry itself. Which I guess is the point of neoprene gloves, but just something to note. Don't go around doing sweaty labor in these gloves and expect them not starting to smell.World's Toughest MudderI plan on using these for world's toughest mudder. The weather in vegas gets to below freezing in November, and during the event we will be going in and out of water obstacles about a hundred times. I would definitely bring one pair of these gloves or a pair of the 3mm neoprene. I know some of you think you can get away without gloves, but you have to remember while wearing the wetsuit, there are no pockets where you can stick your hands in for it to warm up.I understand the grip will be an issue for these gloves on metal bars like the monkey bars. Word of advice though: Spray these gloves with plasti dip. Which you can find at hardware stores in Vegas, or maybe bum some off of other people at the event. The water repllenting nature of plasti dip will keep the gloves very grippy when you need it. Which not compromising the warmth of the gloves. I have also tried to use Latex work gloves Over these gloves, and that's a nono. I almost couldn't bend my fingers at all.I will likely also buy hand warmers at the walmart in Vegas and stick a new one into the gloves every pit stop I make.Lastly, I will try to find a way to be able to fasten the gloves to my bib if I need to take them off to do an obstacle. Maybe a paracord with carabiners, or even just a carabiner that I can faster both velcro straps to the shoulder section of my bib.I will update my review after World's toughest mudder so that people that are doing it in the future may get a little bit of helpful information and experience from my mostly trial and error method of problem solving.

I recently purchased these gloves for a snorkeling and diving trip to the Northern California Coast. I had initially purchased a pair of medium 7mm gloves for the same trip. A couple of problems arose there, as size was much too small for my medium-sized hand, and the 7mm was far too thick for what I would be using them. I had very little dexterity with the 7mm gloves, and couldn't use the abalone pry bar very well.So I purchased the 3mm gloves after reading some reviews that they were plenty warm in cold water. I also made sure to purchase a large size, based on my experience with the other set and on the recommendation from some other reviewers. This new pair fit perfectly. They were very comfortable and were just snug enough to form a nice seal around my wrists. They were also plenty warm, and I spent nearly two hours in water that was approximately 45-50 degrees. They appear to be very well constructed, as they held up very well under several hours of fairly vigorous underwater use. Plenty of sticky material on the palms to hold onto the abalone gauge and pry bar without any slippage.Very happy with my purchase, especially considering the affordable price. Recommend without hesitation.

The gloves fit well, but, the product description says that the seams are glued and sewn to resist water entry. The velcro wrist straps keep the water out, but, the seams on all of the fingers let water in freely, albeit slowly. These are not waterproof. After realizing this, I bought some Aquaseal, turned the gloves inside out, and painted all of the inside seams so that they are now truly waterproof, not just "water resistant."I understand how a wetsuit works. Water comes in and stays there, your body warms the trapped water, and you stay warm. I use my gloves for kayaking in winter weather on Lake Superior (January/February), so I don't want water in my gloves. Even my Wal-Mart neoprene fishing gloves were more water resistant than these.Nice gloves for the price, which is why I give them 4 stars, but, if you want waterproof, expect to pay a little more and put out a little effort, to make them so.

I am a 5'2" female with small hands. These gloves are still too big. There is a velcro strap so I thought it would help but the strap comes 1.5 inches above my wrist instead of at my wrist, thus, it cuts off my circulation. The quaity of the glove is good. Has a bit more texture on the palm than I would like. I use it for surfing during cold weather and when I wipe my face with my gloved hand, it's abrasive.
