The generous width of the neck pad (2.25"/5,7cm) helps to relieve pressure from a heavy instrument. The padded non-stretch neck pad uses high-tech antimicrobial memory foam to cushion your neck and shoulders, eliminating uncomfortable pressure points. The memory foam envelops buttons or clasps preventing them from being pressed into your neck. Also by conforming to the curve of your neck and shoulders, the memory foam distributes the instrument's weight over a larger surface area. Seems like it would be comfortable, with a cushy neck strap and sturdy looking materials, however I never got to test it. The hook attachment does not match the item description or the label on the package. The chunky plastic clip is not compatible with my instrument (English horn), so sadly I'm sending this back.

Big guy, tenor sax. Went through three others before finding one long enough. Comfortable, but I do sweat a bit under the neck strap.

This is perfect for alto or tenor use. It's sturdy and distributes the weight of the horn well. It's super comfortable in the neck area. The hook fully secures the horn in place. I can't find anything to complain about with this strap. I would highly recommend this product, especially if you're tall.

I love the security of this neckstrap to keep my tenor safe. The fabric/cord loop also minimizes wear on the saxophone's eyelet. After a year of use, the plastic buckle works perfectly - no fear of weakness there.

Absolutely amazing. I use this with my bassoon. It was a little bit short, so I found a hook from an old neck strap and chained the two hooks together.Although I still use my seat strap for extended resting periods, this neck strap doesn't fatigue me after a few days of continuous playing.
