This product tastes and smells like some sort of motor oil spilled in it. Very poor product;I do not recommend this coffee! Ugh!

Pay attention to the size of this jar because it’s smaller than any I’ve seen in the stores. Based on the price, that was unexpected. But it tastes very good and I keep having to hide it from my family.

It's convenient to purchase thru Amazon but flavor/price are non-exceptional.

This is one great instant coffee - tastes superb, ultra easy to make (just pour hot water from your electric kettle or similar), the appearance of the coffee is great (with a light froth if you pour from the right height). It’s significantly more convenient to use than make unflavored instant coffee and then use a sugar free flavoring syrup, which still change the flavor as it makes the black coffee sweet which I don’t like.My only gripes are that this is fairly expensive when compared to the bulk-sized jars of unflavored Nescafé instant coffee, and that the glass jars come with their inconveniences - our town stopped recycling glass, so they go into the trash, and we go through one jar in less than a week, so that’s a lot of unnecessary trash. I would love it if they can come up with a bulk pack for this and then let me manage consumption by pouring a little at a time into a single container that is reused.

I wish that instead of having to buy two of a single flavour of their instant coffee, that one could buy one of the hazelnut and one of the vanilla- especially having not tried it before. The first ingredient in this is chickory root powder and it adds to the sweetness without an overt sweetness. I'm usually a double double gurl, but I use only cream with this stuff. If you are not a person huge on sweets, you might find this to be the case for you too.Be aware that this is a small jar, almost half the size of their regular jar of instant coffee. I discovered this coffee during the time of covid when nothing was open, and I'm obsessed with it now. I'll likely take this in a travel mug vs going to get a coffee at a coffee shop as life resumes tbh.

For people who want to make coffee at home without the mess and trouble of dirty filters and coffee grounds to throw out, instant coffee is the way to go. Nescafé has an excellent brand for taste and economy. For my taste, it is easy to use too much instant coffee in an 8 ounce cup with hot water. The amount I like to use in an 8 ounce cup of water is 1.4-1.7g, allowing a 170g jar to make at least 100 cups of coffee. Boiling or using a kettle are two ways of preparing the water needed. I like to use a 12 cup coffee maker with no coffee in it to brew reverse osmosis water that waits to be used with instant coffee, protein powders or teas. For the sake of economy, I also use a single serve maker to not waste energy in keeping the water hot. In my experience most 12 cup coffee makers actually make six 8 ounce cups. Nescafé tastes way better than the usual 5 cents a cup says it should.

I never would have thought I would be an instant coffee drinker - although to be fair I believe it’s come a long way in recent years . My early memories were of a rather harsh taste with a kind of ‘ burnt ‘ aftertaste . I got started on this looking for a beverage for in our Semi ( we are owner / operators that are quite self - contained in our truck with a fridge , microwave , hot plate , kettle ect . My Husband started drinking only Van Houtte pods in the Keurig but I’ve never developed a real love for the Keurig coffee so when a friend recommended the Folgers instant coffee crystals I gave them a try and really liked them ! I don’t recall if I couldn’t get them one time or what transpired but I ended up with a jar of Nescafé & I had to admit I preferred it ! It has a lovely rich flavour to me ; not too strong but full - bodied & I appreciate that when I fill my travel mug , many sips later the flavour hasn’t ‘flattened out ‘ . This is one of many items I have on Subsribe & Save ; with the maximum 15 % discount I feel it is a good value for my money ( it can vary within 2 or 3 dollars by the week at the grocery store I frequent ) & I appreciate never , ever running out . I would definitely recommend this product !!
